Sweet Fantasy

Chapter 1

I was on my way home when all the lights went out, except one. Standing under the light was a hooded figure. I tried to turn and walk away, but it was in front of me in a blink of an eye. He removed his hood and I caught a glimpse of his 4 very sharp canines. I started to see him shift. Fur replaced skin, and he was down on all fours. I could hear all of his bones breaking. Suddenly, a huge black wolf was staring at me with his yellow eyes staring deep into my soul. It was huge and was acting very feral. I backed away trying to get away.

Suddenly I heard another snarl from behind me. I looked back and saw a pure white wolf. It was looking at the black wolf with a protective look. It was trying to protect me from the black wolf. It was kinda scary. The way the black wolf looked at me I could tell it was out to kill me. The black wolf lunged for me and the white wolf leaped over me, snarling. It came on top of the black wolf and I could see the other way. The white wolf looked at me and started shifting back to human form. It was Hayden. He had this concerned look on his face.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"I honestly don't know what the hell I am at this moment," I said.

He then took me into his arms and gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

"You know he might come back right?" I asked. He just nodded his head.

"I have a plan on why we are going to be hanging out so much. We are going to tell people are dating in case someone does ask why. I am going to have my classes switched so that I won't leave you out of my sight."

I heard a low growl from behind me. I looked back and saw the wolves advancing on us. The same black one and a gray one. They snarled at me. I backed away but ended up colliding with Hayden. I barely had time to see him shift, but I did hear him. When I looked back at him, the wolf (Hayden, I had to remind myself) was at my side. I looked back and the gray wolf leaped on me, scratching me. I screamed and came hurtling to and then turns to the other wolves and snarls. They have their hackles raised but backed away from us. He turned back to me and licked my hand. He turned back to a human and carried me somewhere.

I woke up to bright, white light. I tried to sit up, but it hurt. I whimpered. Hayden was at my side in a flash.

"Are you okay?" he asked. I nod. I don't think I would be able to speak anyway. 

 All the memories came back from the night before. I looked back at my arm and seen that my arm had a long scratch, from my wrist all the way up to my elbow. I almost screamed if it weren't for Hayden, who had put his hand over my mouth. I soon started to hyperventilate.

"NURSE!" Hayden yelled. "We need a bag or something!" He sounds worried.

The nurse comes running in with a bag and held it out to me. I take it and my breathing slows down. I look at Hayden and he looks at me.

" Are you going to be okay?" He asked me

"I think so. All of this stuff that's happened is crazy"

I shivered. He must have thought I did it because of him because he then moved back a little.

"I am not scared of you idiot. It's just the other two wolves scared me and ended up scratching me. Now I am too scared to even go outside! Why else would I shiver? You make me feel safe. I feel more comfortable around you. I feel like I want to be around you all the time." I said, blushing. I sounded like a total idiot.
