"Do you really have to go?" Gabriela complained annoyed.
"Yes, it's an important case and they need me" Felipe replied.
"It's always the same story! You're always out!" she yelled at him. "You're never at home!"
"Gabriela, please..." the boy pleaded, tired of the girl's behavior. "It's just for a few weeks..."
"Fine! Do what you want! I don't care!" she yelled again. "You know what? Leave. Leave right now!" without thinking twice, he left the room passing by their friends who were eavesdropping their conversation by the door. The four of them looked at each other, then Cecilia and Isabela told their boyfriends to follow Felipe while they went to comfort Gabriela who lied on the bed

"Hey, Felipe!" Pedro called him.
"What do you want?" the boy asked frustrated sitting on the couch in the living room covering his face with his hands.
"We didn't mean to eavesdrop your conversation, but you know... she loves you. She just wants to spend some time with you" Cristiano patted the back of Felipe while sitting down next to him.
"Can't you just send someone else instead?" Pedro suggested. Felipe glanced at him for a moment.
"I can't... they need me. I'm more expert than any other detective" he explained.
"Well, you don't work in the American Interpol for nothing" Cristiano matter-of-factly said.
"Seems like the assassin is someone very dangerous" Felipe added.

While the boys were talking, the girls were having trouble in comforting their friend.
"Gabriela, c'mon... it isn't the end of the world if he leaves for a few weeks" Isabela said sitting next to the girl. "I thought you got used to it"
"I thought so too" Cecilia agreed.
"Can you just shut your mouth up and leave me alone!?" Gabriela demanded sitting up and throwing the pillow to them. The two girls sighed and decided to leave.
"Let's just leave her alone..." Cecilia suggested and they both walked out of the room joining the boys in the living room. "She just needs some time alone for now" she explained to them.

That night Felipe slept in the guest room in their house and Gabriela in their room, but she couldn't sleep. The next day Felipe had to leave for Japan, but he couldn't get Gabriela off his mind.

The next day...

All their friends were out of Felipe and Gabriela's house to send him off to the airport. Felipe slightly opened the door of their bedroom and noticed that Gabriela was still asleep.

"I'm sorry..." the boy whispered before leaving the room. The girl heard everything because she was already awake before he went in the room. Felipe, in the meantime, was already heading to the airport. After thinking better of it, the girl got in the car and went after him. Arrived at the place, she started looking for him in the crowd.

"Felipe!" she shouted running toward him.
"Gabriela?" the boy asked surprised turning around.
"I'm sorry too..." she said once they were face to face.
"You heard me then?"
"I couldn't sleep..."
"Why is that? Is it because of the argument?"
"Yes, but..."
"FLIGHT N° 645 FOR TOKYO IS NOW BOARDING. FOR ALL PASSEGERS, PLEASE PROCEED TO GATE 5" the voice of the airport informer interrupted her when she was about to say something.
"I have to go, bye" he said hugging her.
"Don't worry, Felipe! We'll take gooood care of her!" Cecilia said, putting an arm over Gabriela's shoulder. "Right, Isabela?"
"Yep! So don't worry too much!" Isabela said.
"Isn't it that you have another ticket by chance? You know... I don't want to die in their hands" Gabriela asked to Felipe after looking at the two girls scared.
"No, I'm sorry... Tell me if they do something to you, I'll whip their boyfriends' *ss for you" Felipe said chuckling. "I gotta go now, bye"

All of them bid him goodbye while he climbed on the airplane.
