It was a warm, sunny day. Scalosh was only eight whilst his sister, Soviet States, was three. The two weren't really close, yet they seem to have a small connection. Maybe it was that Scalosh never wanted a sibling. Maybe it was because Soviet States was never planned, which was a lie she was indeed planned. Whatever the cause, the two fought a lot. They held a truce for now, well for as long as they played outside.
All was well for a few hours, the occasional smart remarks made by Scalosh. The first to hear the fighting was Soviet States, and she went dead quiet. Scalosh then heard it. Their parents never fought, even if they did, it was never this serious. They could hear the insults being thrown at each other.
"CAPITALIST SCUM!"
"COMMUNIST BITCH!"
The name calling went on for a few minutes longer when they both stormed outside. America looked angry, angry enough that he took his sun glasses off. He never took them off unless he was about to get in a fight. Soviet looked quite angry as well. The two throwing insults at each other. That quickly ended with six words.
"I'm not your soulmate. I'm leaving."
That was all that was said before America walked over to Soviet States and took her hand.
"Come on sweetie...we are leaving."
Soviet States took her dad's hand and left with America, leaving Scalosh with Soviet. Soviet and Scalosh watched them leave before they went inside.
Scalosh laid on his bed as he stared at the roof of his room. It had only been a few hours, yet Scalosh seemed to be bored. He started to outline something with his finger, until he heard his dad calling for him. He walked out of his room and walked downstairs.
"Scalosh..I'm sure you are familiar with Britain," his father says as he waves over at Britain, who was right next to him.
"Good to see you again Scalosh! It's been awhile?" Britain says as he bends down and pats Scalosh's head.
"Dad....where's other dad?" Scalosh asked Soviet.
"Scalosh...America left. Britain is your dad now.." Soviet says calmly. Scalosh didn't know how to feel and just ran up to his room, crying. Britain tried to go after him but Soviet held him back.
"Let him be, he will come around eventually," he says as they both watch him run into his room. Slowly but surely, he'll come around...right?
