Reader x England
It was a windy, cold day as you ran down the stairs of the train station. You already had a ticket, although it was for a train that left in about 2 minutes. Panting, you tumbled down by the tracks, just in time to have your ______ hair blown backwards by an oncoming train. The second the metal doors slid open, you leapt in, carrying your ______ bag behind you. You slid into the closest seat to the door and let out a breath of air.
"In a hurry?" asked a charming British voice from next to you. You blushed merely at the sound, lucky for you your face was already pink from the cold wind.
"y-yea..." you whispered, adding a breathy giggle, as you turned to face the Brit you had so luckily slid into.
"Why so hurried, love?" he asked, smiling and leaning on the arm rest.
That caused you to flush red even more, before mumbling "it's a long story..." and smiling sheepishly.
"it's not like we've got two minutes, the train ride is near two hours to where I need to go, so tell me everything," he finished with a smirk.
You sigh and oblige to doing exactly that. His green eyes watch you the whole time you explain about a boy you met online. You were headed to meet him in New York City, in Central Park. You didn't tell the Brit the place you were meeting the "online boy" but you told him almost everything else. You thought you saw a spark of recognition in his bright eyes when you mentioned your online username, ____________, but you figured it was merely your own imagination.
You finished your story as you gasped for air from talking for so long. He grinned at you, brushing his blonde hair out of his eyes, revealing quite large eyebrows, which, quite luckily (and strangely), you found extremely attractive.
"I'm sorry for taking so long!" you giggled, brushing your own hair behind your ear.
He seemed to sparkle as he said "I enjoyed hearing your story!" and your eyes filled with stars.
You set your hand on the seat, to prop yourself up as you whispered a measly thank you. He smiled at you and set his hand over your own. You swung you head around to stare at the ground and hide the dark red that inhabited your cheeks.
You heard him chuckle softly, sounding slightly mischievous. You swung your head around to face your own face barely a centimeter from his. "E-Eh?" was all you could mutter before he eliminated the small space between the two of you. It was a sweet, short kiss, and he pulled away grinning. You were left dazed, you felt as if birds should be circling your head like in the cartoons.
He laughed at your reaction and put his arm around you. His laugh played over and over again in your head as you sat, zoning out in joy and shock.
He pulled a small, green iPod shuffle out of his pocket and placed one earbud in your ear and one in his own. You sat together, occasionally humming together, until you reached your own stop. You stood, feeling sad that you had to leave him. He smiled and saluted at you as you left the train and headed for central park, trying to forget him. You knew you would probably never see him again.
As you reached central park, you received a text from England, the "online boy's" username. It was a picture of a large rock, with a caption reading "Meet me here."
After a little searching, you located the rock. It was tall and sparkling slightly in the sunset. You breathed in a big breath of air, knowing that on the other side of this rock was the boy you had talked to for so long. You slowly walked around the large monument to see a boy in a long black coat, purple scarf, and maroon hat leaning on the rock. You stiffened and slowly approached him. He was looking the other direction as you drew bearer and nearer.
"H-Hi..." you whispered, barely a foot away from him. Instead of responding with a regular old hello, he spun around and lightly gripped your chin as he kissed you. In confusion, you first let out a small squeal but kissed back. He pulled away slightly, lips not far away from yours at all as he whispered in an all too familiar British voice, "Surprise"
