Greenskin
Prologue: Approach Cautiously
“Be careful, guys,” hisses the commander. “This could be a big one.”
As they walk through the endless black depths of the very unhygienic sewer, the officers’ stomachs start to churn. Staring at the face of danger, the terrified cops hope for the light to reach into the sorrow and despair. Treading onwards and trying desperately to avoid the mischievous grasp of the hideous thing called evil, the officers come to a turn. They take the right way, escaping the darkness, light shining down on them through a hole in the ceiling. Marvelling at the beauty at a glimpse of the world above them, they move on…slowly…carefully.
As the commander, John Ken, steps through the dirty manure water of the sewers, he suddenly sees something in the darkness. He walks closer and closer to it, taking out a blood-red flare. As he lights it, he is greeted by the hideous sight of a mangled, naked body that was previously hung upside-down. The most horrifying part of it is the phrase that has been sewn on the dead man’s mouth. It reads ‘R.I.P.’. He naturally doesn’t shriek at the sight of this, not wanting to arouse his men. He moves in closer, wanting to examine the body further. He steps on something and looks down. Below him is another body. It is hard to tell the deceased’s gender since the body has been skinned all over. He almost throws up in his mouth.
Well, his task is done. He has found the bodies. Maybe it would just be better if he retired. He still needs to find the killer, though. He can’t rely on his team to do that on their own. What about his family? This isn’t child’s play. It’s very serious business. He swears this is his last case.
Then it’s over.
