Untitled Part 1

you were sitting at your desk reading your Instagram feed when you got a notification from your best friend Samantha.

Samantha :

Hey girl it's been a while since you've gotten out of your house I was wondering if you wanted to go to this party with me .

Y/n:

Idk I'm not one for party's.

Samantha:

Come on you haven't left your house in months after Chad broke up with you, you need to find someone new!

She was right, I haven't left my house in a while but I was still heart broken after I caught Chad cheating on my with another girl. I sighed.

Y/n:

Fine but you owe me one

Samantha:

Yay!!!! I'll pick you up at 6

You looked at the time on your laptop and saw it was 5:13. You sighed not wanting to leave the house but you know Samantha would have just begged you until you did. You looked around for a dress to wear, eventually you found your f/c dress and quickly put it on. While gazing at yourself in the mirror you hear a knock at the door, you open the door to see Samantha with a toothy grin. "you ready?" She says excitedly. Why was she so excited? I shrugged it off just thinking it was her being her happy self. We got in the car buckling our seat belts and started heading to the party.

(Time skip)

You step out to see a big house covered in streamers and people everywhere with beer in hand, you walk into the crowded place with Samantha as she dragged you through it to a tall man with a slight stubble of a beard and honey colored hair. "y/n this is Kevin I may or may not have set you two up on a blind date!" Me and Kevin looked at each other and blushed. I was angry that she did this without my permission but I let it go he looked like a nice guy. "Well I'm going to leave you two alone try not to get to excited." She said with a wink. I scoffed and looked at Kevin, I quietly brushed my hair behind my ear and nervously chuckled. "Soooooo...."I said awkwardly as the crowd of people started to get larger. "Why don't we head outside." He said with a small grin. I agreed and followed him through the maze of people. Finally, we made it outside and stood there awkwardly. "so what are your hobbies?" He said nervously. "Oh well I'm just a part time you tuber I'm not that famous but I enjoy it." I said chuckling. "No way!" He said excitedly. "I am too I have 2 million subs, how about you?" I looked at him in awe and quietly said "564...." You said embarrassed.

"Thats not bad everyone's gotta start somewhere." He said with a slight smile. I looked around and saw people slowly start to leave. Did time pass that quickly? Then I heard it. Police sirens, I groaned as I new there were under aged drinkers (including myself I'm 18) I quickly tugged on Kevin's shirt to get his attention. "Hmm?" He said confused. "I could get busted for drinking I'm only 18" I said nervously. His eyes lit up in realization I looked over to see Samantha driving away without waiting for me. I sighed angrily and looked at Kevin. "There goes my ride." I said annoyed. "Did you drive here?" I asked Kevin. "No I walked my apartment is a couple of blocks down" how am I supposed to get home I live 5 miles from here. I thought to myself and my eyes lit up as I thought I could stay the night at Kevin's I chuckled nervously and looked at him. "Hey...I live pretty far from here is it okay if I crash at your house for tonight?" I said nervously. He stood there and thought about it I could tell he was contemplating weather he should say no or not, finally and agreed to it and I started to walk with him back to his house.

On the way you felt your hands slightly brush against each other a couple times and you jockey pulled away each time blushing. It was silent between you two. "So." Kevin said. "What brought you too this party?" He said looking at me. "Well samantha wanted me to get out of the house considering I haven't left since my boyfriend...well....ex....cheated on me." He looked down regretting asking me. "Sorry." He said quietly. "No no no it's okay I'm fine...I guess." I said with a small awkward chuckle. We were silent the rest of the walk until we aproached an apartment doo. He unlocked it and opened it. I walked in and looked around seeing pictures of him and some friends I would assume, a gaming area, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a living room. It was small but comfy. 

"You can sleep in the spare bedroom or the couch whichever you prefer." He said pointing at a bedroom that was right next to his. "I'll take the bed." I said smiling at him. He nodded walking into his room and shutting the door. I walked into the room to see a twin size bed in the corner a dresser sitting next to it and a lamp. Quite boring but doable. I walked over to the bed laying down getting myself comfortable and quickly dozed off.
