“So, since we know each other now, what did you meant by 'no way out'?” Akiyo asked Akane.
“Well, you can't get out. As you already know, you're trapped in here. And I heard that the only way out was to complete this game by beating the ultimate boss.” Akane explained looking at all of them.
“So, does that mean that if we don't complete this game, we'll be trapped in here forever?”
“Yeah, pretty much.”
“As in, forever forever!?”
“Yeah, yes. What part of 'forever' do you not understand about?” Akane said, crossing her arms. “Anyway, let's get you guys settled in. Follow me.” Akane started to walk away, the six other boys began to follow her.
After what seemed like forever of walking, they had reached upon a huge mansion. The boys were fascinated at the sight of the mansion. “Come on in, guys. You can make yourself at home.” Akane said, walking into the mansion.
“Is this really your house here, Akane?” Ryuuji asked.
“Yeah. When I found it, no one was living in here. And it seemed to be abandoned. So I cleaned it up and made it my place.”
“Wow...” Katsuo said in amusement. “For me, its actually kinda hard to believe that you live in here!” He said once again, looking around the house.
“Well, believe then.” Akane said, making her way to the kitchen. “You guys can just sit down and rest in the living room while I can go get some refreshments to cool ourselves down.” And with that said and done, she walked out into the kitchen. 'Could he be the one? Has he finally come to save us all? Is he the chosen one as of what the prophacy said? I need to find out, and we have to find the third of us... The other chosen one.' Akane thought in her mind, but was inturrupted by a call from behind her.
“Hey, Akane! Do you need some help on serving the drinks?” Akiyo, who popped out of nowhere asked to help Akane.
“Oh. Well okay sure thing Akiyo.” Akane said with a smile. 'The chosen one...' She thought once again in her mind. But soon dismissed it and continued to get the drinks. “Hey, maybe you could help get the snacks? They're in the cabinets over there.” She said, pointing to where the cabinates were. Akiyo nodded to show that he knew where she was pointing at and walked over to get the snacks. “Thanks for helping out, Akiyo.”
“No problem! I always help people. The other guys are just talking about other stuff but I just told them that I'll be helping you get the refreshments instead.” Akiyo said with a smile on his face.
“Oh, well okay then. I really appreciate it.” She gave him a small smile.
They were making their way out from the kitchen with all the refreshments, but they ended up walking in on what almost seemed to be the new World War III now. The other guys were having war and screaming “Give us all of yer GOLD!!!” and “NEVER!!!” and each other. They were also throwing pillows at each other. Ryuuji threw a pillow, but it ended up hitting Akane straight in the face, to which made her flinch. “What..the hell..is going on here..” Akane said, trying to sound calm, but eventually her eye started to twitch in annoyance. She shot a glare at Ryuuji, which sent shivers down his spine.
Everyone instantly stopped at what they were doing, and got a little scared. “W-We're sorry...”
“What do you guys thing you're doing...” Akane said in a cold voice. The boys looked at each other, thinking of who would tell her, otherwise they're dead meat.
“W-Well, you see, um... H-How do I say it... Um, w-we were just playing around and it k-kinda got out of hand?” Arata explained while letting out a nervous laugh.
“For fuck's sake, you guys! I let you all rest, and you guys started an all-out pillow fight in here!?” Akane said, feeling frustrated and a little annoyed at the scene.
“W-We're so sorry!!” All of them bowed, apologizing to Akane. Aikyo just stood there and shook his head at his friends as he sighed.
“You guys do realize that we aren't in our normal world anymore right? I mean, think about it, I might just suddenly charge at you guys in attempt to kill you all with guns that appear out of nowhere.” Akane said as she set down the drinks on the table in the living room. There was no doubt that Akane seemed like she was going to kill them soon enough.
“A-Anyway, what do you recon we should do now?” Akiyo asked.
“Well, lets see. You guys can rest for now, and maybe I can bring you guys out and teach you some fighting skills tomorrow? Because that's what you guys'll need in this game.” Akane explained, looking at the guys.
“Why do we need to do that though? I don't see any harm going on here in this place. I mean, this is called Shielded Winds Kingdom, right? And there are dragons protecting this place. What could possibly go wrong here?” Ryuuji said, as if thinking everything will be as easy as pie being in this parallel world they're all trapped in.
“Well, that's not exactly how it is. You see, this place might be guarded by dragons, but there will still be other kingdoms out there that'll raid on our kingdom for some good loot to get. As well as getting game points to which will help them level up. Especially when they are fighting against a strong boss. So yeah, that's how it works here in Edens Kingdoms Online. You have to gain power and stamina and level up if you're ever want to get back to the real world.” Akane gave them a serious look.
“I see. That's the purpose of it all, huh?” Akiyo looked up at Akane.
“Yeah. So that's why all of you should start learning to fight because you'll need them in combat later on in the game.”
The group of friends talked for hours about everything that's happened before they got into this parallel universe. “Well, its actually getting pretty late. And I think we should all go to bed then.” Akane said, everyone nodding in agreement. She cleared out everything, Akiyo helping her with the rest of the things.
She lead everyone to the guest rooms which was on the first floor of the house. There were only three guest rooms that were avalible, since the other three were filled with some of the other stuff that had been in the house. So that meant that there were going to be two guys sleeping in one room together.
Akiyo had to share a room with Arata, Kohaku with Katsuo, the Ryuuji with Ichigo. The guys felt really awkward because they had to sleep with each other in one room. Some of them were just scared of what their roomie might do to them while they're alone.Like throwing a bunch of pillows at them. Yup, pretty terrifying.
As Akane was washing the glasses in the sink, Akiyo appeared right beside her. “Yo~” He said.
“Oh, hey there Akiyo. What's up?” Akane asked, as the turned off the faucet to stop the water as she turned to his friend next to her.
“Well, about tomorrow... Where will we be training at?” He asked.
“You'll see. Don't worry about it.” She smiled at Akiyo.
“Well alright then. I guess I should probably go to bed now, huh?”
“Yeah. Go on, we have a long day of training tomorrow if you're all gonna want to get out of this parallel universe, right?”
“Yup. See ya.” And with that, he left and later on, so did Akane.
