Chapter 5 - A true hero.

Since the appearance of quirks and professional hero schools, U.A. has certainly been the most prestigious, as almost every great pro has graduated from this school. It's almost a requirement for greatness as a pro.

The number one, All Might, who rejected a national honor award as the symbol of peace.

The number two, with the biggest amount of solved cases, Endeavor.

The winner of the best jeanist competition for 8 years straight, Best Jeanist.

And the famous hero Champion, often referred to as the symbol of justice, ranking number three, and even sometimes as number two. He managed to make a great impression in his time as a hero.

These great heroes have all graduated from U.A., and, as such, it will bring upon the next generation of great heroes.

Izuku is running towards the entrance of U.A., that being an immense blue arc-like structure at the front, which holds a sign with 'U.A. High School Entrance Exam Location' printed on it, surrounded by very tall walls, with smaller concrete replicas further down the brick path, leading up to a massive glass building.

*Pant**pant*

Izuku: "I made it... Just in time..."

Y/n: "Yo chill, it's only 8:20-"

Izuku: "AAAHH...! Oh, It's you, Y/n..." *pant* "How'd you get here?" He yelled, startling others around them like himself.

Y/n: "I... Walked... With my legs."

Izuku: "You don't have to treat me so harshly! You didn't have to digest... You know..."

Y/n: "I guess you're right... Better hope you don't get any more stomach pain."

Y/n looks at the building as Izuku checks the contents in his bag, making sure he didn't forget anything.

Izuku: "Y/n?"

Y/n: "Uh- yeah?"

Izuku: "You brought everything, right?"

Y/n: "Yeah..." He says, sinking back into his thoughts.

"Hey, Iz- Midoriya."

Izuku: "Yes?"

Y/n: "Why... Do you wanna be a hero?"

...

Izuku: "E-eh? What do you mean?" The surprised teen asks.

Y/n: "I just want to know, what truly motivates you. When I hung out with you and Bakugo, he'd always pick on you... How did you choose this nevertheless?"

Izuku hesitates for a moment, before gathering his thoughts.

Izuku: "I... I just want to help those who cannot help themselves... I want to be a hero that saves people with a smile!"

Y/n: "I see... That's why..."

Izuku: "Is anything wrong?"

Y/n: "No, in fact, it's the opposite."

He aims a fist towards Izuku.

Y/n: "I'll see you at U.A., next symbol of peace!"

They both do a fist bump, sharing a determined smile.

Izuku:"... Yeah! I won't let you down!"

In a giant, dark, theater-like room a crowd of examinees sits in anticipation watching three wide screens showing the symbol of U.A., an A surrounded by a bigger, square-like U, both golden in color.
