R/N P.O.V

As I awoke I noticed that Inko was making breakfast and izumi was not up yet. I went to ask Inko if she needed help and she said no so I just went to watch TV. After about half  an episode of hunter x hunter Izumi woke up and we all ate together.

Inko: "are you excited to see what your quirk is izumi?"

Izumi: "YES"

Inko: "ok then go get dressed"

R/N: "why are you guys getting a quirk test so late"

Inko: "oh I must have forgotten to tell you but izumi is 1/2 a year younger than you"

After we reached the doctor's office, we got the test done and waited for the results. After 5 minutes the doctor came back and told us her quirk.

Doctor: "her quirk is called aura, it allows her boost her abilitys as much as she wants as long as she has the energy for it. She can send out waves of energy, make things sharper and/or harder by sending her aura around it, and manipulate objects using her aura, and much more. She will be a strong hero indeed."

Izumi: "yay I can be a hero mommy" she exclaimed.

After that we went to the park. While Izumi and her friends showed off there quirks I was coming up with a schedule to work out and make my self stronger. It didn't take to long to understand that I would have to work ten times harder to become a hero.

The next day rolled around and it was Sunday, so I started my work out. Now, I was six and had never worked out befor so I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was. I could do 30 pushups easily, so I started in sets of 30 on everything.

<time skip first year of middle school>

"Narrator" P.O.V

Izumi, Katsumi, and R/N have been getting along nicely. Katsumi doesn't bully anyone but she does stick up for the other two, by that I mean she doesn't let any of the other girls bully izumi or get close to R/N. This school day was as uneventful as the last. The only 'eventful' thing was that Katsumi almost got in to a fight cause a girl winked at R/N, that and we had free time when we got to go to the gym. The gym wasn't that fun at first until this happened.

<flashback to the gym> R/N P.O.V

Girl 1: "let's all play volleyball"

Girl 2: "YEA"

Rest of class: "YEA"

So it ended up being me, katsumi, and izumi vs the rest of the class. Izumi was the setter, meaning she set up the ball for the spikers, I was the decoy/blocker/spiker, and katsumi was the spiker/guard.

We smoked them especially since I could jump higher than the net. (P.S all of this was a sorta haiku reference)

Girl 1: "we really lost to three people"

R/N and katsumi: "heck yea you did"

Izumi: "come on we all had fun, and you girls did great."

R/N: "Come on Izumi, I mean I'm usually not one to brag but if I could set the ball as good as you I would be bragging 27/7!"

Katsumi: "What about me? Do you think I did good?" After she said that she moved closer with her arms behind her back and her chest pushed forward.

R/N: "Y-yea I think you did great no one could get past you." I started moving backwards until I herd the bell to leave.

R/N: "Well that's the bell, race you home."  I said grabbing my bag and bolting out of there.

Izumi used her aura to make herself faster while Katsumi used her explanations to propel herself forward. I ended up first place again. After a short break we moved to the backyard.
