Saryl; In The Spotlight.

Chapter One

Music blasting from Cheryl's headphones; she was listening to her favourite girl band who she adored; Girls Aloud. She had been a fan of Girls Aloud since was 12, she was now 16.

She was on her way into town. She had a white plain tee, with some blue skinny jeans, with a long black coat and white converses. She had long brown hair, and had it in a messy ponytail.

The time was 12, and she was with her mum in the car, and her mum - Joan said to her

" Good luck today love, not like you're gonna need it, you're amazing, I love you " she said with a big grin on her face looking at Cheryl who wasn't looking at her.

Cheryl could not hear what her mum just said as her music was blasting through her headphones. Her mum nudged her in the side to get her attention.

" Cheryl! Are you deaf love? " she said laughing.

" Cheryl I said, good luck today, you don't need it though love, you will be amazing "

" Thank you mum, I will need it, I'm so nervous, you don't understand " she replied, running her hands on her jeans because they were sweaty.

Cheryl was on her way to have an audition to become part of a new girl group, she had had so many different auditions, but never had a opportunity to become a singer - which she was hoping for ever since she was able to talk and walk, but it never really worked out for her because she had confidence issues and it was becoming a big problem for her, and today was a day for her to overcome these issues. Today was the day she was going to try and become a singer.

Cheryl and her mum had now arrived into town, and it was a five minute walk to the hall where she was going to have her audition, it was 12:34.

" Cheryl are you alright, babe? " Joan asked

"Yea mum, I'll be alright when this is all over, and I'm a popstar " she said laughing with a wink.

" Yes hun, you will become a popstar, its your time to shine " Joan replied laughing.

Cheryl hugged her mum and gave her a kiss on the cheek, they was hugging for about 5 minutes, then Cheryl said " Okay mum, this is enough, I better get going, I'm only going to be around two hours and then I'll call you to pick me up, okay? " she said with a smile on her face.

" Alright darling, give it your best shot, I'm behind you whatever happens okay baby. " Joan replied rubbing the side of Cheryl's cheek.

" Okay mum, I'm gonna go now, thank you for everything, I love you so much. " Cheryl said grinning, while walking away from her mum.

" Bye baby, good luck, I love you more " Joan replied smiling and waving.
