Flashback...
9 months ago...

I haven't been feeling good I been throwing up in the morning before school. certain food make me wanna throw up i looked at my phone seeing I was a month late and didn't realize it. I took a test and it immediately pop up with two lines I called my boyfriend Derek.

"Yeah baby"he said.

"I need you to come over"I said.

"Alright I'll be there in 10"he said

10 minutes later...

I open the door and we went upstairs.

"Wassup something wrong"he said.

"I don't know how to feel about it Derek"I said walking around the room.

"Yanna what's wrong"he said.

"I haven't had my period in a month then I took a test and it says I'm pregnant"I said showing him.

He looked and looked at me.

"Yanna I'm not ready for a child we still in school this is the beginning of our senior year"he said.

"So what are you saying"I said.

"Get a abortion I know it's not what you want but it's best for the both of us"he said.

"You can leave I will not kill my child they didn't ask to be here I will raise our  my child by myself"I said.

Flashback over

Wassup y'all I'm Ayanna Dìor Hawkins I'm 18 years old. I have a little brother name Kareem he's 4 years old that's my baby right there. We do have different moms because my mom died when I was 14. That hurt me to the core I still visit her grave talk to her as if she's still here. But Kareem mom is still a mother figure to me. I never had a problem with her I can go to her about stuff like I would my mom.

"Baby boy stop kicking me"I said.

He kicked some more than he stuck his foot out. I rubbed the spot and he quickly moved it. I am 9 months pregnant thank the lord because this baby here. When I found out I was throwing up before school. I was tired and then he had me eating weird stuff. I'm due in two days and I'm not acting like it. My phone rung and my dad was calling.

"Hello"I said.

"Hey pumpkin can you do me a favor"he said.

"What is it"I said.

"I know your due in two days but can you keep pick K3 up and keep him until I get there"my dad said.

"I got you"I said.

It was now 1:30 and he get out at 2:12 so I took a quick shower and got dressed and headed out.

I got to his school and it was 2:09 i was waiting in the car line to pick up K3 the pre-K kids came out K3 got in and we left I had to drop my homework off to guidance so I headed her to the school.

I got out getting K3 and we walked in the the school of course I was getting stares from a little bit of people but I didn't care everyone know I'm pregnant by Derek.

I seen Derek talking to one of his boys and paused to look at me i rolled my eyes.

"Hi Dee"K3 said cheesing.

"Hey lil man"Derek spoke back.

K3 and Derek are two peas in the pot.I turned in my work and left out the school K3 got in his booster seat putting on his seatbelt and I close the door and walked to my side and got in I headed home and I cooked K3 something to eat, I help him with his homework, and Bathe him now he's out sleep. My dad came surely enough 3 hours laters and handed me 2g's I don't ask him to pay me because that's my brother he insists on doing and I'm tired of telling him to stop.

I laid down in bed and drifted off to sleep.
