"I can't see him again." Emma vented to Lily. "You finally went on a date after how many years of singleness, and you're just going to throw the man away?" Lily said as she tried to knock some sense into Emma. "Yes, the whole man," Emma said with confidence. Emma was concerned about the significant age gap, what her family would think, and what possible future they could have. "I like him, I do...but he's turning 50! FIFTY!" "And?" Lily said. "Just give the man a try and stop being scared. Look, he called you again."

Lily said as she pointed to Emma's phone. Emma looked over to only avoid Tony's phone call for the twentieth time. "I need to think about it, long and hard." Lily shacked her head and went back to her office. Three months had passed, and Emma has yet to return Tony's calls. As she had tea and scones at her favourite shop, Emma saw Tony enter the shop. Her eyes widen as she came into panic mode. Nearly almost spilling her drink and freshly baked scones to only have Tony noticed her with all the noise.

Both of their eyes locked for Tony to disconnect, pay for his order and leave. Emma's face was puzzled. "Why didn't he come over to me?" Emma thought to herself. She ran outside to let her thought be known. "So, no hello?" Tony looked at her and chuckled. "Really, Emma? I know you have beauty and brains, but you're acting very oblivious to why I would not dare say hello to you. All the unreturned phone calls said enough for me to go my way and you go yours." Tony mentioned assertively. "I'm sorry, Tony. I really am. This is just new to me." Emma said, opening up to him. "And you think this isn't for me, too? I don't go around chasing younger women, but me running into you just happened, and I would have liked to see where it could have gone." Tony expressed.

"Happy belated," Emma said as she handed him her bag of freshly baked scones with an innocent smile. Tony couldn't help but laugh. "You will have to do better than that, my dear," Tony said as he got in his car. "If you want to make it up to me, you know my number." Tony drove off, leaving Emma intrigued. A couple of days later, Emma called Tony to see when the next time he would be available. "Nice to hear from you, Emma." "Thank you for taking my call, Tony. I wanted to see when your busy schedule would allow some free time for my make-out session, I mean makeup session."

Emma said with embarrassment. "I think I like the first one better," Tony mentioned with interest. "But, regarding my availability, I'm out of the country as of Friday and will back in a month." "Wow, you're a busy man," Emma said. "Might I ask where you are off to?" "Just Bora Bora." "Sounds fancy. Business or pleasure?" Both, that's if you can spare a few days off from your busy schedule." Tony extended his available time. "Wow, that sounds great, but I'm not too sure." "Oh, I see, already back to avoiding stages, are we?" Tony asked.

"No, not at all. I just have work to take care of, clients to satisfy, you know?" "I understand, but I still hope you can find time to satisfy yourself with all work and no play." Tony was smooth, and Emma liked it a lot. Emma entered her office Thursday morning to sit at her computer to get some work done and prepare for a meeting later that day. "So, are you in or do you want to be a chicken?" Tony messaged her with a chicken emoji.

Emma smiled but didn't reply as she was still unsure. Friday afternoon came for Tony to only send another message. "This beach is missing one thing...You." Tony had Emma smiling from ear to ear. "Why are you smiling so damn hard, girl?" Lily inquired. "Because I'm going to Bora Bora with Tony," Emma said with happiness as she submitted her vacation request to her manager.

Lily smiled with excitement for Emma to pursue Tony. "Looks like you are going to have what the beach has been missing, Tony. I'm going to book my ticket now." Emma advised. Tony called right away. "You will not be booking your ticket to come out here, Emma," Tony said, creating confusion. "Excuse me?" Emma said with an attitude. "Send me a picture of your passport. Did you think I would let you book a flight to an invite I gave?" Tony said, putting Emma at ease. Emma then took her lunch break with Lily to get a few things for her trip as in a couple of days, she would be whisked away to see her much older man.
