The Elemental Chronicles: The Beginning of the End

Prologue

Hundreds of Years Ago

Long ago, in ancient Minecraft, before the Far Lands were discovered by the NPC's who lived outside, Six Nations were able to live among each other without conflict, The End Nation, The Fire Nation, The Frost Nation, The Sky Nation, The Shadow Nation and The Forest Nation.

The Frost Nation was well-known for their abilities to create solid ice out of water and reaching the lowest temperature in the world, known as Absolute Zero, or the freezing point where the particles in a solid don't even move at all. Frost Nation citizens are known for living in some of the coldest regions of the Far Lands, and helping other Nations survive during the coldest winters and stand against the most dangerous blizzards.

The End Nation is known for being the first Nation to learn the language of the Endermen and figuring out how to hatch Ender Dragon Eggs and raising the Dragons to be pets to the Citizens of End Nation. The End Nation is also known for trying to figure out how to get out of the Far Lands and even into the realm of the Players.

The Forest Nation is known for living in the Jungle regions of the Far Lands and inhabiting Jungle Temples and even living high up in the tallest trees, Forest Nation members are well-known for their ability to climb vines that are hundreds of Blocks in the air.

The Sky Nation are well known for being able to build Islands that float almost at world height and building complex cavern systems into Cliff sides to make homes for themselves, The Sky Nation is also known for being the creators of the Elytra, a device that allows the wearer to glide through the air and fly around with the help of colorless fireworks.

The Shadow Nation is known for inhabiting the deepest caves, strongholds, abandoned mine shafts, ravens and even dungeons. They have the ability to see in the dark, communicate with the monsters who also inhabit the dark areas. Shadow Nation citizens are known for being some of the most stealthy inhabitants of the Far Lands, able to be so quiet you wouldn't know they were there until they revealed themselves.

The Fire Nation is known for creating Fireworks, TNT, and their redstone machines, Fire Nation citizens are known for being pranksters and love for experimenting with TNT, redstone, and even for writing the official Redstone Hand guide which Notch found and published in the Physical World. The Fire Nation is also known for setting off hundreds of multi-colored fireworks on Minecraft's Birthday each year. The Fire Nation region, unlike the other regions, was inside the Nether, a dimension of fire and lava.

The peace between the six Nations was maintained for generations until one day. An End Nation apprentice managed to create a portal to the inner lands of Players and NPCs and the other End Nation citizens soon learned how to use the same ability, and even tried to teach the other Nations how to open a Portal to the Inner Lands but for some unknown reason only The End Nation possessed the ability. Still the End Nation treated the ability as if it were something all the Nations could use and soon established a trade system between the NPC's and Player's of the Inner Lands and the Nations of the Far Lands. The Fire Nation however could not use this ability or Trade route because the End Nation's powers simply didn't work in the Nether for unknown reasons. The Fire Nation soon grew envious of the End Nation and its ability to leave the Far Lands that were even barricaded in the Nether. So they chose to wage war on the End Nation, thinking that if they killed the End Nation warriors who could leave the Far Lands, they could take the powers from the End Nation. The Shadow Nation quickly withdraw themselves from the conflict and sealed themselves deep in their underground homes and have never been seen since and it is thought to this day that the Shadow Nation when extinct due to lack of food and water if they ever existed at all. Frost Nation had no interest in the battle and helped only if they needed to. The Forest Nation tried to fight in defense of The End Nation but the Fire Nation struck back with such a force that the Jungles burned and the Forest Nation was forced to move to the smaller, less crowded forest biomes of the Far Lands, Sky Nation however fought alongside the End Nation hoping that the Fire Nation would see they were outnumbered and retreat but they didn't causing the Sky Nation to retreat leaving the End Nation and Fire Nation in a never ending battle that will leave the land soaked in lava, blood and tears.
