I glanced across the street, glancing at the blue lights of the bar for a second, debating. I sighed, frowning as I started across the street. But as I made it halfway, a revving engine made me look over sharply as a cherry red mustang came around the bend. I cursed and ran for the other side.
I caught a glance from the driver and he sharply tried to ram on the brakes, but he had been going full throttle. As he was nearing, I quickly leapt as high as I could. The car seemed to slip right under me, but it stopped for me to barely skid off the back to land on my feet. I glared back at him sharply even as he stepped out of the car.
"What the hell?" He ran a hand through his hair, looking scared before he turned, "I'm so sorry for driving like an idiot."
I sharply stepped forward, grabbing him by the collar and shoving him against his car, "You better be! Do you realize what you could have done if anyone else had been walking across there?!"
"I'm sorry," He muttered uneasily.
I just scoffed, letting go of him sharply, but giving him a small shove, "Dumbass!""Do you want to press charges?" He added uneasily.
"Over this?" I sneered, "Who do you think I am?"
"Uh... The President's kid?" He shrugged.
"... Right," I muttered in annoyance, "But why should I care about the dumbass who sits in a wheely chair? Just go home, dipshit." I turned away, grumbling under my breath in annoyance before I shoved open the bar door, stepping inside and sighing in annoyance as I took a seat at the bar next to a group of people that looked like they were celebrating.
I glanced up at a tv in annoyance as the news played; telling everyone in here the breaking news of the President putting a bounty on his own daughter's head. I just groaned in annoyance and nodded to the bartender, "Italian brandy."
"Daddy issues," He grinned as he pulled a bottle off the shelf and poured me a glass.
"Don't even start," I muttered in annoyance.
"At least he wants you alive," He added.
"Thats not very smart," I scoffed, taking a large gulp of the brandy, "I 'disappear' in the night with his favorite set of trash; that bastard."
"Says here you kidnapped his wife and ran," He pried, brow furrowed.
"Do you know who that bitch is?" I scoffed, "She's a damn hooker, now, what dumbass would leave his last six wives for a hooker?"
"What'd you do with her?" He added.
"Paid her for her troubles and told her to run," I shrugged, downing the glass, "I'm not surprised that isn't in the news either."
"Boys," A voice to my right made me look over as a man with a moustache turned to me where he sat and pulled out a pistol. "Come with us nicely and you won't get hurt."
I just laughed, "Look at this, good people in this wonderful bar! I'm being threatened by a couple of men who think they can be my babysitter on the way to DC!" The attention was brought to me and a few people laughed. "Does anyone want to help tell them I don't need a babysitter?!"
"And you need help doing that?" A man in the corner with a girl clinging to him with a hand in his pants.
"And you need help beating yourself?" I grinned, making him sharply glare and shove the girl away as most everyone laughed. "No, I don't, but you know what? It's nice to have drinking buddies!"
The bar roared with grins and eagerness. I pulled out a credit card and grinned as I slammed it on the bar, "Drinks on me!"
"Hell yeah!" Was the most common shout as I quickly ducked beneath a fist and dodged out of the way, sharply diving over the bar carefully to shelter with the bartender.
"First fight in two weeks," the Bartender muttered.
"Your welcome," I grinned. He just sighed in annoyance.
"There's a back door at the end of the bar," He promised.
"Thanks," I smirked, patting his chest where he had a pocket, "I have a feeling I'll be seeing you around."
"As if," He scoffed and turned away to grab a bottle and sharply slam it over someones head.
I chuckled and crouched as I crept towards the door. Some dude got thrown over the bar but I just grinned as he lay there out of it. I grabbed a hat from under the bar and put it over his eyes before I kept going.
I glanced back only once as I grabbed a bottle and walked to the door before opening it and flicking off the bottles lid. I took a gulp before slamming it on the head of a stumbling guy with a bow tied around his eyes.I darted out the door and started towards the street, but sirens erupted. I stopped and waited until they passed before stepping out and fast walking towards a red mustang. I glanced back once before pulling the stolen keys out of my pocket and unlocking it.
I pulled open the door and stepped in to turn over the engine.I just laughed as three men I recognized as some who had my bounty came running out as I revved the engine. They ran towards me but I sharply slammed my foot on the gas. I rolled my window down as I did; sticking out my middle finger as I passed them.
Boy, I loved being a disappointment to my father.
