Backstory

Story: In this world, nothing was how it should have been. Lye was killed by a falling boulder when Core was just a young shape. When Core was old enough to be a caretaker of a hero, she never understood how hard being a caretaker truly was but she did her best to take care of her hero: Cyber. Together, they met: Pyram, Gyro, Pentavail, Thyme, Ivy, and Clementine, the other heroes and caretakers who were tasked with keeping the tree of life safe from B.X and Barra who wanted to take the tree for themselves and corrupt the land. B.X and Barra managed to get a foothold of the tree, corrupting the entire land for themselves. The heroes and caretakers had won the first time and locked them away. 10 years later, the pink corruption started again and the heroes and caretakers had to save the day. Along the journey of the heroes and caretakers, Ivy got taken away by a couple of corrupted shapes who lured Clemintine to where they were holding Ivy. The corrupted shapes forced Clemintine to watch her caretaker get brutally murdered in front of her very eyes. This made her enraged, killing every corrupted shape that forced her to watch her caretaker die. After the murderous rampage of Clemintine, she became devoid of emotions that she once had. Gyro, Pentavail, and Thyme found themselves in a cave with a narrow exit on the other side, where Pyram was waiting for them, which could either be expanded or carefully maneuvered though to get out. Pentavail helped Gyro, and Thyme escape to Pyram but the tunnel suddenly collapsed onto her and caught Thyme by the foot. Pyram helped thyme get free before being face-to-face with a group of corrupted shapes ready to strike but when they did, Gyro took the full extent of the blow which knocked her unconscious. Pyram quickly rushed the two heroes to the hospital for healing. Once there, Gyro was put into intensive care because she fell into a coma while Thyme had his foot looked at before getting it patched up thoroughly. Thyme soon had to go into intensive care for an infection residing in his lungs that didn't seem to be getting any better. Pyram got the news that Gyro had fallen into a coma which he might never wake up from, this caused a heavyweight on his heart as he tried taking in so much information at once, Pyram fell into depression. Core and Cyber were making good progress until they found themselves running from a large group of corrupted shapes. Cyber was tossed farther away to save him but he didn't want to leave Core alone and he started running back. He saw something that scared him. His heart became heavy with regret, shame, disappointment, fear, and the heaviest of all... sadness.
