What We Leave Behind

"Friends" (Chapter Nine)

      While Alex was distracting Barry Cisco was calling Oliver Queen he needed the Arrow's help incase they could not convince Barry to stop on his war path. As Alex was distracting Barry he very quickly realized what she was doing and began ignoring her, putting the final details into his devise.

    While Cisco and Alex were busy Caitlin was checking on Kara, when she turned to leave the room a gasp was heard causing Caitlin to whip around and stare in shock as Kara jolted up into a sitting position. Running over to her Caitlin Begins to ask questions "Are you okay? Feel light headed? Any discomfort?"

    Confused Kara looks around and ignores all of Caitlins questions and counters with her own "Where am I?"

    Caitlin now realizing that she was over whelming Kara slowed down and answered her "S.T.A.R. Labs, Earth-1." 

      The the words left her mouth  Kara clearly perked up a little "Barry, is he back." Not expecting Kara's change in behavior Caitlin could only nod. When Caitlin confirmed to her that Barry was back all Kara could think of was "Where is he."

    Caitlin stammered over her answer "Well physically he is here in his lab, but emotionally he is not all here." 

   "What happened? How did he become coherent?" Kara began to question

   Caitlins only response was "You. When he heard you were in trouble he snapped out of it and ran to you. Now all he is focused on is stoping who ever put you here. You need to talk him down, He has gone off the deep end." Even before all the words left Caitlins mouth Kara was standing up. Once Caitlin finished Kara exited the Med Bay and started to walk towards Barry's lab.

   Once Kara with Caitlin in tow got to Barry's lab what they found waiting for them was Alex going through the computer. Kara was the first to speak up "Alex, where is Barry."

   Shocked to hear her sisters voice Alex ran up and hugged Kara. After Kara finally managed to pry Alex off of her, she responded to her question. "Barry he left, he figured out we were planning on stopping him and grabbed his supplies and bolted."

   Just then Cisco came running in saying "There you guys are, I got in contact with team Arrow they are making their way down here as we speak." Pausing and looking around he sees Kara saying "Hey how are you feeling?"

   Not expecting the surprise turn of focus onto her she stammers over her answer "Fine. What are we going to do about Barry?" Right now Barry was her primary concern she needed him, and he is planing a suicide mission. 

   Cisco monetarily forgot about Barry when he saw that Kara was up and moving around. When Kara motioned Barry he new they lost him. "I can track him from the Cortex." As the words were being said Cisco sprinted to the Cortex followed by Caitlin and Alex while Kara used her super speed to get there first. When Cisco made it to the cortex he was surprised to see Kara there with her arms crossed and he approached the center computer. After a few minutes of intake waiting the just standing around in silence when they heard other people in S.T.A.R. Labs. Then from around the corner came Oliver Queen in his Green Arrow outfit.

    Quickly scanning the room Oliver gave Kara a nod of acknowledgement and soon realized Barry was not there "Where is Barry?" Oliver questioned the group.

    Cisco being the first to respond said"AWOL." As the words left his mouth the computer binged and every one in the room let out a sigh of relief as Cisco announced "He is at the S.T.A.R. Labs hanger."

   Oliver turned to Kara and said "Carry me". Then in the blink of an eye both were gone and appeared at the hanger to talk Barry down.
