I was getting dressed for Carla's baby shower. I put on a soft gray dress and a silver necklace. My hair was down and straightened and I had on my pink lip gloss. I went over to my pile of shoes and got out some yellow heels . I grabbed my big yellow purse and walked out the my room I am temporarily occupying.
"You look so pretty Bea. You sure you feel up to going?" Nyla aka Nana asked me. I have actually gotten really comfortable calling her Nana.
"Yes, I think it was just something I ate yesterday." I said referring to the sickness I had yesterday. She laughed and shook her head.
"You and I both know that ain't what's going on here. You're glowing sweetheart." She said and kissed my cheek. I grabbed my keys and headed to the door.
"Bye nana, love you." I say and she smiled and I went and got in my car. I put the keys in the ignition and drove off to the venue.
