its 8:29 and she isnt here yet

its homecoming and ruby was supposed to come

im just sitting at one of the tables waiting for my date to arrive

she didnt want to get a ride with me, flash and his date because she said it was too 'risky'

Which i understand but,

she wont answer my calls or texts

in the middle of my worrying and stress, mj comes and sits next to me

"hey, are you okay?" she semi-shouts over the blaring music

"uh yeah, just waiting for my date." i say awkwardly

she looks at me concernedly, "dance ends in an hour, you sure she didnt just dip?"

i wanted to scream at her but my phone started ringing. why is daisy calling?

"i have to take this." i said getting up from the table and going into the hall

i answer

i hear yelling

"daisy? daisy?! is everything okay?!"

"amber, listen to me, track where i am and come here, hurry"

before i can ask any questions, she hung up

i run through the halls when i see peter running the other direction, we both slow down

"where are you going?" he asks

"ive got a mission. You?" i say out of breathe

"Stopping crime illegally" he says with a smirk

"Ok, have fun parker"

"right back at you 'bambi'"

im currently in a hydra building that i remember like the back of my hand. I didn't have time  to change so i am running down the halls i used to call home in my short dress and platformed shoes. i stop at a familiar door and open it. ruby's room its like i remember it. Walls covered in posters and a record player from 1998. as i continue to look around the room, i see her dresser littered with photos of her, some missions im guessing, and some of us. I start getting lightheaded till i hear screaming near by. I quickly grab the photos and shove them in my purse and run to where the scream was.

I get to where the yell was

My head hurts, it's pounding

Daisy is yelling at me to stay back

Ruby's voice, that's not Ruby

Its deep

Not her, not her, not her

I want to go to her, hug her

Daisy keeps holding me back

My head is spinning, throbbing

something bad is about to happen

I can feel it

Literally

These goosebumps come and go so fast

I think im dying

But i don't think i am

Ruby is triggering it

I need to go to her

"Daisy,.. Let me go, she needs me"

"i'm not letting you go anywhere, the last thing we need is you distracting her"

I look up and the voices are taking over her body

She cant feel anything

Her scream makes my head throb

I think im going to vomit

"YO-YO, WHAT THE HELL! WE HAD HER!"

"SHE THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS! SHE WAS GOING TO KILL US!"

Everything stopped

Yo-Yo and Daisy just kept on fighting and may and mrs.hale were on the floor

"SHE NEARLY KILLED ME!"

"BUT SHE DIDN'T! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU DID?!"

i get up and stumble towards ruby

"Ruby..?"

I cant hold it in

I let out the loudest yell and i breakdown

I cant do this

I lost her

She found me

And i lost her

"RUBY!" i sob

Theres blood everywhere

Getting on my short grey dress

But i dont care

Her neck

I rest my head on her chest

I couldn't save her in time

THIS IS ALL MY FAULT

I COULD HAVE HELPED HER

BUT I LET HER DEAL WITH IT ALONE
