TodoDeku Zombie AUWARNINGS: A little vulgarity and small gore. (?)
Summary; It's been five years since the apocalypse began. There were only a few survivours, some among them immune to the disease. But they were all uncertain if tomorrow would be their last day.

As the greenery slowly mosied on around him, Shouto couldn't help but let out a small noise of melancholy. His days had been slowing, and so had his step. He cursed everything that was holy for having only a slight immunity, because even being a complete zombie would be better then this. Sure he felt little to no pain and he didn't need to eat very often, but everything else was hell.He was rotting from the inside out and he could do nothing to stop it. He had contemplated ending his life many times, but how would he do it? He can't drown himself, he barely breathes in the first place. He can't end it quickly with a gun because he simply doesn't have one. And finding a survivour to end him has been hard enough, since he won't attack them, they rarely go after him. So really, Shouto was stuck. Left to wander while he slowly loses his sentience and becomes nothing but a walking corpse like the rest of them.
As he kept sluggishly shuffling around the forest he had recently entered, he began to hear a voice. A familiar one. He had heard it many times in school. It was talking to someone, but the voice that responded was barky and harsh. Todoroki couldn't make out what they were saying. So he decided to try and get a closer look.
Following the dim voices, he began wandering faster, well, as fast as he could. He tried to jog, but the feeling of his loose stomach made him want to throw up. Not that he could. So he opted to just speed walk. As he got closer, the voices grew more prominent. Now he could clearly make out what they were saying.
"Yeah, how about you shut the fuck up before you attract more fucking zombies, nerd?" The more harsh voice snapped, a twinge of irritation ringing in his voice. Shouto wondered what the other was talking about prior.
"Kacchan, we need to talk about it anyway! And we both know zombies stray from this area because of the harsh terrain!" The other voice pleaded, sounding slightly whiney. Kacchan. Where had he heard that before? From school, he remembers that much. That's what Midoriya called his childhood friend. But he can't remember said friends name, just that he had blonde hair. His memory had been deteriorating just like his body had.
As he got even closer, he was now just a few meters off of them. He could make their general appearance out, but their backs were turned to him, so no faces.
One of them were shorter, his unruly green hair curling and twisting around his creamy skin. He was wearing a black hoodie, and a simple pair of worn jeans. They even had a few rips in them. Red sneakers were clinging onto his feet, untied and dirty. They seemed old. His face seemed to have freckles, but he couldn't really tell from this far away, and since his face was turned away for the most part, Shouto just gave up trying to see.
The other was a taller blonde, about the length Shouto stood at but because he was hunched over a bit he seemed shorter. His spikey hair looked like it could prick you, but a black beanie covered most of it. He wore another pair of blue and well worn jeans, seemingly too big for him. A pair of black combat boots covered his lower shins, hugging him tightly as he seemed to had tied them very well.
But as Shouto got closer, the greenette turned his head and let his eye wander back to see what might be behind them. And he stopped dead in his tracks as he saw who it was. Shouto could see the tears beginning to well in his emerald coloured orbs as he turned around and cupped a hand over his mouth, gaining the attention of the blonde.
"Deku, why'd you stop—" He began to say, but was cut off by his own jaw dropping at the same sight.
"T-Todoroki-kun..?" Izuku's voice was muffled by his hand, which he then moved to his hip. Must be a gun, Shouto thought to himself as he stopped and stared at them both. His raspy voice soon broke through, though.
"Mi.. dori.. ya...?" He croaked out, his chest squeezing tightly. Was it really him? How had he been? He had many questions. But none of them were going to be answered. That's what he thought, anyway.
Izuku's movement faultered as he gasped slightly before taking a step forward. Though the angry blonde quickly grabbed his wrist. "What are you thinking, stupid nerd?" He hissed, his eyes glossy with their own tears as he reached for his side, pulling a handgun out and pointing it at the hybrid.
"You can't shoot him! I think- I think he's not a complete zombie!" He yelled, being quick to reach out with his other hand and slap the gun away from the other, which let out an annoyed scowl.
"Then what is he?!" He growled and let go of the freckled boy, which didn't waste any time before getting closer to Shouto. But he was still cautious. "Is it.. Really you?" He choked out, the emotion welling back up. They hadn't seen each other in years, but they were all still the same. Shouto slowly nodded at Izuku's question, opting to not speak since it strained his throat. It was hard to speak when you couldn't draw breath correctly.
Izuku's hand gently went up to cup his pale face, his thumb gently sliding across the rugged and bumpy skin of Shouto's scar. Shouto could see how the others eyes welled up and tears slowly began running down his cheeks, before he gently hugged Shouto, his shoulders quivering.
"I missed you... So much.." He choked out. Katsuki knew that he should back off and leave them alone. He knew Izuku was heartbroken when he heard that Shouto had been bit and banished from their camp. Why wouldn't he be? They were boyfriends. And he had hardly moved on. It had been three years and still he could hear him gently whisper Shouto's name in his sleep. So he backed away, grabbing his gun from the bush it fell in before making his way back to camp.
Izuku leaned away, wiping his cheeks before hesitantly pecking Shouto's cold lips. It felt like Shouto, and looked like Shouto, but his cold skin and dead eyes told him it wasn't. But it was.
"I'm.. I'm so sorry.." He whispered, his head slowly shaking. But Shouto simply let out a small chuckle and ruffled his hair. He couldn't speak much more then he already had, but he had to force the words out.
"P.. aper..? Pe-n..?" He asked, deciding writing would be a better idea. But Izuku shook his head. He didn't have any on him. "Come.. Follow me, back to camp." He said, a soft smile on his lips as he sniffled a bit. He reached out to take the others hand and lead him, and Shouto awkwardly let him.
But his hand was cold.
