Siren

Chapter 1

Sildar woke up just to find Theren's arm around his chest and their faces close enough to kiss each other. Theren was already awake., and he hadn't really slept at all, because he didn't need to.
"Good morning" Sildar said and smiled. He put his arm around Theren, basically hugging him, and pulled him closer while kissing him all over his face, before he kissed Theren on the mouth.
"Are you still drunk?" Theren asked, laughing a little.
"I don't think so" Sildar smiled and continued. "I didn't drink that much last night"
"You were yelling 'daddy' to me when I said literally anything to you. You got quite a lot of weird looks, and I eventually just had to take you up to the room before you embarrassed me more."
They didn't say much for about 10 minutes of cuddling before they heard three loud bangs on the door.
"HEY! Y'ALL STILL SLEEPIN'? OR ARE YE FUCKIN' AGAIN" they heard Gaylord scream from outside. Theren suddenly remembered something that had happened last night, but he knew Sildar wouldn't remember so he just decited to not comment on it. They looked at each other, and decided it was best if they just got up from bed already. They quickly put on some clothes before going out in the hallway to Gaylord. Sildar didn't bother putting on his armor, and Theren was okay with just a fancy, white shirt and green pants.
Gaylord was already in her normal everyday clothes, with her battle axe and everything. She was a dwarf, or mountain dwarf to be exact. She was never really polite, but kindness was there enough of to make up for it, once you get to know her a little bit.
They all three went downstairs to see Alea, Iris and Hermann ze Warrior already sitting around a table in the bar and eating breakfast. They were all wearing their normal clothes. Theren and Sildar almost stood out a little, because they were the only ones missing their adventure gear. No one really seemed to mind though, and they got a tired "good morning" from Alea and Iris. Hermann was much more enthusiastic. It was pretty strange seeing a cat sitting like a human. They hadn't really known Hermann for that long, considering they met him on one of their latest adventures.
Sildar and Theren sat down next to each other on one side of the table, the same side Hermann was sitting on. Gaylord joined the other girls on the opposite side.
"Hey, you want some breakfast?"  The bartender asked, not long after Theren, Sildar and Gaylord had sat down.
"Yeah, I will just have some fruits and water." Theren said with a little smile. He looked over at the other party members who hadn't gotten breakfast yet. Sildar didn't order anything, and Gaylord wanted an entire dinner (chicken and rice).
Sildar stole a few fruit pieces from Theren before they all left to buy some supplies.

"Hey, take a look at this"
Theren was pointing at two necklaces in a store window. They looked normal, but Sildar was convinced they had some kind of magic, because Theren would never point them put if they weren't.
"They're a pair. I read about them in a book once. They come in bracelet, rings and necklaces, and the necklaces are the least common ones. The magic is quitw simple, but it's very... Cute? What they do is that if we were apart, or together, distance doesn't really matter, we could feel each other's heartbeats and... Thoughts about each other." When saying the last part, Theren looked Sildar in the eyes, and Sildar could see how flustered he was.
"I'm not sure if that last part is a good or a bad thing... I guess it depends on the situation. Wait here a second."
Sildar walked in to the store. Theren didn't follow, because Sildar had told him to wait after all. When Sildar came out again 3 minutes later, he was wearing one of the necklaces. Without saying anything, he put the other necklace around Theren's neck, and getting closer than he maybe needed to.
"Should we get going?" Alea asked.
"Yeah, sure". Sildar took a short step away from Theren and started walking. The party followed.
The rest of the shopping was quite successful. Theren got some more spell components, Iris actually found a few gold coins, Gaylord got some magic items for a good price, Hermann was banned from the pet store because they sold catnip, and Alea got a new dagger. After a while of just looking around without any luck, they decided to sit down and get something to eat.
