I was getting books from my locker, thinking about the history test tomorrow before someone came up behind me and tapped on my shoulder, "Hey, do you have a pencil I can borrow?"
At first I thought it was her but when I turned, it was only Samantha. My heart raced for a moment before I knew but then I just smiled and began rummaging through my bookbag.
"Yeah sure. Isn't Mr. Kiser going to give you a detention if you're late again?"
"Nah, we got a sub today and I don't think she'll care."
"Heh, well alright" I finally found a pencil and turned to give it to her, "see you at lunch."
"You, too." She smiled then headed off. I then grabbed my stuff and my books for class, shutting my locker and picking up my bag before stepping toward the classroom. When I entered the room and shut the door behind me I realized that we had a sub as well and written on the board was "Study for the Test tomorrow" with "study" and "test" underlined heavily. I walked to my seat as I saw the sub was reading; apparently he didn't care about me being late, plus how the other students weren't even studying. They were talking loudly, throwing paper balls and trying to shove Steven into the trash can as usual. I grabbed my notebook and pencil and set it on my desk and when I reached my hand into my bag I realized my book wasn't there.
"Um..." I looked on the board to see if the sub's name was written on it and there was. "Mr. Web?"
The sub's eyes slowly looked up at me over the top of the book. Slowly blinking his deep voice softly roared out. "Yes, Miss?"
"May I return to my locker? My history book was left in there.." A short pause of silence before he blinked again and without a word he slowly nodded.
"Hurry up." The sub said, his eyes slowly gazing back down to the pages of his book.
"Thank you, sir." I quickly stood from my seat and nearly darted out the door quietly shutting it behind me.
Walking down the hallway it seemed more quiet and calm; you can hear a pin drop when it's this quiet and it was odd. It was never quiet in the halls let alone the classrooms. Soon I made my way to my locker and turned the nob to enter my combination when I began hearing a door open from down the hall. I refused to turn my head to look as my door finally opened and I got inside to search for my book. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a hand gently press against the locker to my left as someone stood there beside me.
"Looking for something, Sierra?" I turned my head and realized who it was and it wasn't Samantha this time. Tess stood there with a concerned look on her face.
"Um, yeah I'm just looking for my history book."
"Oh, alright. If you need you can borrow mine." Tess said, smiling softly. Ever since she came to my school we hung out a lot. Soon we became best friends and I felt like I could be closer to her. It was strange for me because I never felt such feelings for another girl but it just felt right. I just felt like I can trust her. But she's always ignored me half the time because she has other friends; I can tell she feels bad but she never makes the effort to change that. I don't even know if it's worth to ever tell her anything about how I feel, that's when we haven't talked for a few days.
"Okay.." I spoke quietly, continuing to search for my book before Tess reached over and gently grabbed my arm. My attention quickly went over to her as she cleared her throat and looked at me.
"Sierra, listen. I'm sorry that I'm never here for you. I'm sorry about the other night for what I said and.. I'm just sorry for everything."
"Tess? W-What do you mean? I get that you have friends, I just don't want to be a bother to you.."
"You're not. I was just afraid to tell you how I feel about you. Now.. I can show you." Tess' hands quickly grabbed mine as she pushed me against the locker next to mine with my hands above my head. Trying to figure out what's happening I felt her lips gently press against mine. It felt like she sent a cool chill down my spine that seemed to have calmed me down a bit. This has to be a dream; it was too good to be true!
"Truth is, I love you Sierra. I just never had a way of telling you." Tess grew sad a bit before she softly pecked my lips and used one hand to keep mine up as she used the other to begin rubbing my side.
"T-Tess, stop.." I closed my eyes; everything felt so real. I felt my cheeks start to burn with a deep blush as Tess began trailing soft kisses down my neck; her heavy breathing made me blush even more. She looked back up at me and when she slammed her lips against mine one last time
It stopped.

"Sierra, get up!" My body jerked and my eyes shot open. My vision cleared and I saw my brother standing before me. "Get up, lazy ass. You know you have school today?"
It was only a dream. My eyes closed and I let out a soft sigh of relief before my brother stood and shook his head.
"Weird ass people and their dreams." He walked out of the room and I sat up; I was in my bed and I was relieved. I actually thought Tess did all that; that dream nearly made me jump out of my skin.

I got off the school bus and walked up to the doors to go inside the school. Passing people left and right I finally made it to my locker and I opened it. I began stuffing my locker full with the books I had before I heard a familar voice behind my back.
"Hey, do you have a pencil I can borrow, Sierra?"
I stopped and my eyes widen; was this happening again? I slowly turned and realized who was standing there and it wasn't Samantha; it was Tess.
"Y-Yeah.. Sure.."
And let's just say, that dream was pretty fucking awesome.
