In the end

I was awake. I rolled over and looked at my alarm clock. 6:55am I sighed. I still had five more minutes to sleep. So I decided I'd just lay down for five minutes. And I did. But not for long, my alarm started going off. I turned it off. I swear it felt only like a minute since I checked the time.

I walked over to my bathroom and turned my straightener on. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpastes and started to brush them. I rinsed my mouth out and washed my face. I brushed my semi-long red hair and started to straighten it and tease it. After I was satisfied with it I started to put on some makeup. I only wear mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. Black of course.

It was about 7:45 and Ashley said to be ready by eight. So I guess I'd better get dressed. I walked over to my closet and I grabbed out a pair of black skinnys, a long sleeved black shirt and a band shirt to go over it. A misfit one to be exact. And I slipped on my black converse. If you couldn't tell black is my favourite colour. Well and purple, red, green, anything dark really.

I grabbed my sweater and zipped it up and walked down stairs. My aunt had already left for work. She works as a manager somewhere in the morning, and at night she's a tattooist. I walked into the kitchen me there was a plate of food. I took a bite of the toast and threw it all away. I don't eat. Only a little so my stomach doesn't grumble all damn day.

'Ding dong'

I guess that's Ashley. I walked over to the door, grabbed my bag, and opened the door. There stood Ashley. He looked the same as yesterday, only this time he was in more black and wearing eyeliner. He looked good I guess. "Hey Jessica." He said making way for me to come outside. "Hey Ashley." We walked down the driveway and he stopped. "We just gotta wait for someone okay." I nodded not really knowing what to say.

We sat on my aunties bench she left in the yard. And the house across the roads door opened. Ashley jumped up and I stood up. I guess he's the one were waiting for. He walked closer and I realized he was the one I drew a picture of. He was wearing heavier eyeliner than Ashley and way more black like me. And his hair was teased and black. I gotta say he's hot. He made it to us and gave Ashley a hug.

"Oh Jessica this is Andy, he's my best friend. He just lives next door to you but he mostly stays with me. Andy this is Jessica the girl I told you about she live right here." He said turning around. Andy looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. "Well it's nice to meet you Jessica." I looked into his icy blue eyes. "You to Andy." And Ashley butted in between us and started a conversation with Andy. It was probably for the best. I can't trust anyone. There all the same.

As we walked Ashley and Andy walked in front of me. I decided I'd rather not listen to the laughter so I pulled out my headphones. I played some Asking Alexandria. I was watching them as we walked so I wouldn't get lost or anything. Andy kept looking back at me. And Ashley well he kept talking.
We soon arrived outside a huge school. Which I'm guessing was a normal size around here.

I pulled my headphones out and we walked in. "Jessica, we'll take you to the office and to you locker and first class okay." Said Ashley. I nodded. We walked in and asked the lady for my things, and we were off to my locker. Once we arrived I checked my schedule.

English
Music
Art
Poetry
Biology
Design

All my favourite classes. I got to pick them while my mom enrolled me here. The only bummer is I have to take math, history, and social next semester.
"Hey Jessica let's see if we have any classes together?" Andy asked. I nodded. He grabbed out his and we compared. Turns out me and him are in all the same classes.

Ashley wasn't in all but most. He doesn't poetry, art, or design. "I'll catch you guys in class okay!" Ashley yelled as he ran to catch up to this girl. Andy laughed "that's Kate. He's been trying to ask her out for years." I decided I'd rather not walk around in awkward silence so I decided I'd talk back.

"Why doesn't he just ask her." I asked while we started walking to what I guess would be our first class. "They've been best friends since elementary school. Like me and him. And he's afraid I guess of losing her." I know the feeling. "Well he never knows." We didn't talk after that. But we arrived to our first class. The bell hasn't rang yet so we took a seat in the back. And he turned his chair to face me. "So Jessica, what's your favourite colour?" I raised my eyebrows. "Yeah, mines black too" he said. I laughed. And he smiled.

The day went by smooth I guess, Andy and I were talking most of the time. I didn't mind it actually. It was nice. But we're not friends. I can't risk letting anyone know the real me. I was at home by now and my auntie was still away at work. I decided I go finish some of my drawings. So I walked up to my room and grabbed my book and pen whilst going to sit on my window seat.

The first picture that was there was the one of Andy. I decided I'd rather not draw and I opened up my laptop. I checked my tumblr and I had some notes. Mostly just reblogs and likes from Ashley and dead-at-15. Dead-at-15 has been liking and reblogging allot of my stuff.

I decided I'd put up a new post. A poem to be exact.

'Laughter is very tricky
It could tell someone the truth
Or it could tell the biggest lie
Laughter is very tricky
And all mine have told lies'

I posted it and no longer then a minutes I got loads of notes on it. And just as I was about to close my laptop I got a message. I usually get a random message every now and then. I'd decided I'd better check it. I clicked on the mail icon and my message popped up, it was from dead-at-15 I guess he's wanting to make conversation.

'Hi' was all he said.
'Uh hey' I didn't really know what to say.
'Whats up?' And the rest of the night we talked and talked.

I figure it's easier to make friends who don't know how you look or don't live by you. We knew everything about each other by the time it was 11:00pm we said goodbyes and he told me he'd message me tomorrow. I gotta say, I really can't wait. Were so alike and have so much in common. He said I'm like the female version of him.

I turned my laptop off and put it away. I slid my feet off my bed and stood up. My feet landed and a book and I bent over to grab it, it was the photo album. I sat back down and tears were already fighting to fall so I let them. I placed it on my bed and walked to my bathroom. I grabbed my razor and pulled down my pants and I had my bliss. I cut my thighs up again.

After is cleaned up the blood and bandaged it I pulled my pants up and walked back over to my room. I turned the lights out and put on some music. I laid back down yet again with the book in my arms.
