Prologue

        Today, he smiled at me again. I almost choked myself to death. Desperately, I grab a glass of water while trying to swallow a piece of pork that got stuck into my throat. Stupid! Now I just embarrassed myself in front of him. Within a split second, I tried to compose myself. Too late, that asshole is laughing his ass off at me.

        I could barely finish my lunch. It feels like he's watching my every move. "Oh, for Pete's sake Tameka, pull yourself together." I whispered to myself as I gulp down another glass of water. 

        It has been three months already but the idea of having a boyfriend is as awkward as my relationship with algebra. I'm always uneasy. 

               "Boyfriend." I chuckle to myself. That's right, that boy with a fluffy hair and fairly thin brown sharp eyes is now my boyfriend. And that reminds me, we're supposed to meet at our usual place after school. I wonder if it's going to be another awkward situation for us.
