Chapter 3 : The Plan.

Su-mi waited in front of the university quite early in the morning and reviewed through her plan. Her objective was simple – to lure Jin and keep him busy for a while during which she will text Mi-young, will pose herself as Jin and will simply cancel the date they were going to have later. Short, simple but surely effective. The idea came to her yesterday when Mi-young was excitedly telling her about her date which she assumed will be special as it includes dinner and according to Mi-young's book of romance and dating it is considered as a crucial step in strengthening the relationship. So obviously she will be upset if the date gets canceled and will surely break up with that jerk. Also, Su-mi spied for a few days and knows that Jin always comes early so she thought it to be the perfect opportunity to carry on her mission.

Just when she was thinking all this she spotted Jin coming towards her way and she put on her best fake smile and hurried to meet up with him.

"Seokjin-shi good morning how are you?"

Jin calmly removed his earphones and simply said, " Where's Mi-young?"

Yah how can you avoid my question just like that you jerk, thought Su-mi but simply said, "She's coming later, I have some work that's why I came early."
"Oh", Jin simply replied and started walking, trying his best to ignore the girl who kept following him, looking like her best to strike up a conversation but failing miserably so he stopped abruptly and soon felt a tiny body colliding with him.

Su-mi was thinking about how to start a conversation without sounding suspicious so she kept tailing him all through the doors of his department. She was so lost in her thought that she failed to notice him stopping in his tracks and collided with him. That instant she felt the back muscles of Jin which were tensed and noticed his broad shoulders. Oh my how can a person have such a huge shoulders, she thought and felt her cheeks go hot and immediately stepped back muttering sorry.
Jin sighed before questioning, "Why are you following me?"
Su-mi pinched herself to make the blush go away before answering, "Oh I wanted to apologize for my behavior at that coffee shop so please forgive me" and gave a quick bow.

"It's alright I didn't mind I knew you were looking out for your best friend", Jin said calmly but still cautiously.

Su-mi thought this to be the perfect opportunity to execute her plan so she extended the bag she bought along with her containing donuts and coffee. Jin was surprised seeing the bag and suspiciously asked, "What is it?"
"Please accept this small bag as a token of forgiveness", she said and bowed.

The wheels were turning in Jin's head which didn't go unnoticed by Su-mi so she took out the box of donuts, opened it and showed to Jin, intentionally smearing his face in the process.

"Hey watch it!", Jin pointed out, irritated as the cream has smeared his handsome face.
Su-mi hurriedly fished out the coffee while apologizing and splashed it in front of his face and then, like she suddenly realized she said, "Oh no this is not water? I'm so sorry really I didn't mean it I thought it was water..." and pretended to have tears in her eyes.

Jin's face was really hot, both from anger and embarrassment as a small crowd has gathered to watch the drama going on, whispering and trying hard not to laugh. Jin tried to send a death glare to all the meaningless people. Many moved away quickly after noticing this but still a few remained so he lashed out at the only thing who was the root cause of all this.

"HEY WHO TOLD YOU TO BRING SWEETS I HATE IT! YOU CLUMSY GIRL."

Su-mi tried really hard not to retort and carried on her acting. Su-mi if you mess up this now then this jerk will never leave you and Mi-young so hold on, she mentally encouraged herself and tried looking miserable with her fake tears and all and meekly said, "So-sorry I tried to be friends with you sunbae-nim but it seems like my klutzy behavior got in the way. I promise this won't happen again" and bowed deeply, pinching her inner cheeks.
