POV: Ayinde(Gemini IV)

I often was an easily amused child in my youth, hell even now. I pondered on the thoughtas I sat on one of the couches of House Sagittarious staring at the large detailed framed picture of a star cruiser from the television show Star Trek. I imagined sailing the stars in such a ship looking for and protecting new life. I missed my childhood and as a consequence it was a constant reminder of how I had nearly no memory of it or my parents.

I turned from the image and looked at Corpion. He was about to touch it when he suddenly spun around saying “So are we fighting in this warzone? I would prefer to do
it in one of these things way out in space at least that way it would look alot better than this place.” I smirked and shook my head as John sat down next to me saying nothing but I noticed he was looking toward the kitchen. I peered into the darkness of the kitchen and Katie's figure became visible, a silhouette reaching for the fridge. She slowly opened it and as the light hit her eyes I saw a hint of red tint to them but she then my view was obscured by the door of the fridge. I stared as she slammed the door loudly and her father's figure appered. He was a rather large man and had a booming voice to match. His words carried from the kitchen to the living room where we sat and on past to the room where he and his wife inhabited.

He walked into the middle of the room and addressed us. “My name is Allan-” “Smith right?”Corpion cut him off rudely smirking. Allan's eyes had a tint of red but it didn't look like anger just power. “I wonder why it is your in my house?” His southern accent was heavy but managable and just as he commanded our attention Katie burst into the room as well carrying water bottles under one arm and several small items in the same hand. In her other hand was a plate chock full of rice and beans. She quickly planted herself between John and I and with a cheesy smile began digging into her food. John reached for a water bottle and tossed the others to the rest of us. “Is she not thirsty with such an appetite?” I said aloud after taking a sip of my water. “I don't drink that stupid stuff” she responded while reaching into her shirt and producing a miniature sprite can. We each gave a bewildered look and Allan said “So what is it that brings you here?” Corpion was still chugging his water when he pointed to John and I stated “We have come for John and nothing else.”

Allan walked over to the computer complete with speakers that all constantly shifted in color due to the many LED lights infused into the inner workings. It was odd how it began its changing run of colors with red then rainbowing through all the major colors until it glowed brightly red once again. Just before going dim the light would pulse several times then go dark and restart the chain again. Allan noticed my staring and said “This is no ordinary PC, this is my baby! Oh and its a record keeper of all events that have happened
in and to this house since well before you were born to right now.” I asked if the initial color was always red when it began and ended. He nodded and
pressed a few keys in a specific order and at once a red pyramid began to
form from several angles simultaneously. John said “How long has that been there?” Allen said nothing and I could see why.
