Summer
It was Friday afternoon and Dad and Ari have been gone for four days now. Sy and I have been doing good so far on our own, and there haven't been any problems with us or the house, so this month should be easy to handle.
Right now we were at lunch and we were talking about our party tomorrow night and how damn near the whole school is talking about being there tomorrow.
"I'm so mad I can't go." Toni huffed as she ate her french fries.
"Oh well you'll get over it." Joey mumbled.
"Y'all is funny." Sy said.
"You won't be missing much anyway." I shrugged trying to make her feel better.
"You lieeeee." She said mocking that Alien from that show. "This is probably the party of the year and you know where I will be?" She asked us rhetorically. "Somewhere pregnant."
All of us laughed at her as she huffed and puffed about being pregnant, once again.
"Trust me, if it gets too fun then we will invite you baby." I rubbed her hand and picked up my tray.
The bell rung, indicating that lunch was over and so was our school day. Now Sy was on her way to go grocery shopping and Me, Joey and Toni on the way back to my house so they could help me move some stuff out the way before the party tomorrow.
"We riding with you Summer." Joey said from behind me.
"Okay meet me at my car in five minutes." I said and walked off to my locker.
"So I'm going to go to the store, drop the stuff off, and then I'm spending the night with my boo because I haven't see her all week." Sy fake pouted.
"Alright that's fine don't take too long because once we get done moving everything I'm going to sleep." I reminded her.
"Remember Ty is coming into town and she said she'll be by the house around 4:30."
I groaned. "Oh my goodness, I forgot. I'm not even in the mood to be around people right now."
"You'll be fine. See you later sister." She kissed my cheek and I kissed her's.
I walked out to my car to see Joey and Toni swallowing each other's faces off. I decided to scare them and unlocked my car doors and both of them jumped.
I giggled as I walked up to the driver's side. "Oops my bad guys."
"Girl you scared the shit out of me."
"Don't be doing all that shit when we are trying to move the furniture."
"We won't geesh." She giggled.
We talked the rest of the way, and made it there quick enough to beat any traffic.
"Okay so I just need you to help me move this glass table down to my Dad's man cave, and move some of this stuff out the front too. Toni you can grab that." I instructed them.
I grabbed the keys to his man cave and unlocked it so we could bring down everything.
"Be careful y'all. We can't break shit or he is going to break us." I warned them. They laughed, but I was dead ass serious.
We were able to move all of the valuable things around the house into the basement in about 45 minutes and put up the groceries that Sy'aire had dropped off for tomorrow. Now I was walking around the house to see if there was anything else that needed to be moved and was locking the doors to the guest rooms.
