1 year has passed since the construction of the beach house. Steven and Nora are now 6 years old and the foundation of the beach house are almost done.
Greg has been teaching the twins how to play the ukulele during his break on building the house.
At the temple, Garnet, Amethyst, pearl and Greg are putting the finishing touches before they take a break.
Greg:and there we go *Wipes off his sweat* that should do it for now.
Garnet:alright looks great, let's take a break.
Pearl: shouldn't we grab more materials? I feel like we don't have enough resources.
Amethyst: pearl we're building a house. Not a mansion.
Greg:Yeah we have enough materials to build the house. I'll grab some water at the van for you guys.
Meanwhile at the beach. Steven and nora are practicing the ukulele at the van
Nora:*sings* we. Are the crystal gems we'll always save the day.
Steven: ....
Nora:steven?
Steven:oh sorry *plays the ukulele and sings* and if you think we can't we'll always find a way.
Nora: um steven..are you ok?
Steven started to blush Because of embarrassment.
Nora: Steven, what's wrong?
Steven:im... embarrassed to sing this. What if the song is bad? What if I screwed up?
Nora:*holds Steven's shoulder* Steven it's okay. I'm sure they'll like it. Trust me.
Steven:promise?
Nora:I promise. Come on it'll be great. *sees Greg* Hey dad's here!
Greg: man. Building a house is not easy.
Nora:hey dad!
Greg:*pats nora* hey squirt. so how's that ukulele treating you guys?
Nora:It's going great.right steven?
Steven started to blush again.
Greg:stu-ball what's wrong?
Steven:uhm..
Nora:Steven doesn't want to play the song we wrote.*sees pearl walking over to them* hey Pearl's coming over!
Pearl:hello Steven, Hello Nora.
Nora:hey pearl!
Steven was startled and started blushing again.
Greg:oh, hey great job out there.
Greg passes a bottle of water to pearl.
Pearl:um,thank you, Greg...
Pearl passes the bottle to amethyst.
Amethyst:oh, yes.*sprays herself with water then swallows the bottle*
Pearl:Did you give Steven and Nora that instrument?
Greg:Ah, yeah. They're picking up so fast that I'm running out of things to teach them. Steven, Nora, you wanna play them the song you guys wrote
Nora:yeah!!
Steven:uhm..*blushes*
Greg:Come on, you and Nora wrote it for them. Seriously, they're really excited to live with you guys, it's- it's all they talk about. Don't you want them to hear it?
