For those entire life of mine, having struggles and waste searching for that creature whose possessed the power and position that will help us to save our comrades vampires from our enemies. Tss. But heck. Right now, I don't know if I found a wrong person or they just choose a wrong one. A human? Really?

I heard Mrake chuckled.“I see. Hindi mo gusto ang piniling tinakda.”

I just give him a glance and fix my position here in these tree branch. Muli akong napatitig sa babaeng busy sa pakikipag-usap sa mga batang palagay ko ay mga orphan. Seriously? I thought the chosen one would be fierce, tough and stone hearted but as I can see this one was a soft hearted one. Niloloko ba nila kami? I mentally laughed in sarcastic.

“Are you sure she is?” Tanong ko sa lalaking busy sa pagkain ng daga. Napangiwi lang ako. Wala talagang pinipili sa kinakain ang isang 'to.

He choked before answering.“Yup. As you can see umilaw ang kwintas nu'ng lumapit s'ya.”

“Tss. Maybe that necklace is damage or whatever.”

Itinakda, itinakda, itinakda. Ugh! Damn that word! If only I have the power to change that ‘tinakda’. She doesn't even seems useful to help us! She looks... weak!

“Why so hard Czade? Hindi mo pa nga nakikilala 'yung tao eh. Judgemental ka rin.” He chukled after reading what's on my mind.

Kumunot ang noo ko.“Well that's the problem. Tao s'ya. How can a human be useful to be the chosen one and to help us? You know how weak humans are.” I exclaimed in sarcasm as I watched her comforting a crying little girl. Tss.

“Alam mo bro, payo bilang matalik na kaibigan. 'Wag kang judgemental sakanya. Malay mo malakas 'yan na nagpapanggap lang na normal. Hindi naman kasi pipiliin 'yan ng ‘May Kapal’ kung walang special sakanya diba?”

Napaisip ako saglit sa sinabi n'ya. Oo nga 'no. Madiin 'kong tinitigan ang babae. Malay ko nga bang nagpapanggap ka lang. Well then if that's the case, your acting a great job. But how? Let's say she's just acting, but the question is.. Why would she? Sa pagkakaalam ko walang alam ang itinakda tungkol sakanyang katauhan base sa propesiya.

“Maybe she already found out her not normal skills na ayaw n'yang makita ng mga kapwa n'ya tao.” Napatango ako sa naisip ko, not minding that I actually said out loud. Mrake agreed by humming.

He stretched his arms.“Then, let's go!”  He was about to jump out when I quickly grab his back collar. And that made the tree we are hiding to shake.

“who's that?”

I give Mrake a glare signing him to silent.

“Tch. Why am I even asking eh halata namang hangin lang 'yun.”

“Ano 'yun? Ba't mo ako pinigilan?” Taas kilay na takang tanong n'ya.“We should get her now Czade.”

“No. Not now.” I said. Sinilip ko ang babae bago ko sabihin ang mga katagang..“We should watch her, study her, examine her. I want to know her.” I want to know what she got.

“Wow. Hindi ko alam na tinamaan ka na----”

“Shut up!”

I want to make sure if she's worth it to be the chosen one, for my comrades sake. Hindi basta-bastang kapalaran at tungkulin ang nakatakda sakanya..
