I'm Something Else

Adam looked around the school hall. He looked forward to see Billy. He moaned. Billy was a bully. He only picked on Adam. "Oh if it isn't Mr. Satan," said Billy. "Piss off!" said Adam trying to walk around Billy. Billy stepped to the side, blocking Adam's path. "You wanna fight?" said Adam. Billy had a shocked expression on his face. Adam was never like this. 

Adam began to walk away from Billy. Billy grabbed Adam by his common sense jumper's hood, choking him a little in the process. He turned Adam around looking him dead in his eyes. "You, me, town square, tonight at 6 pm," he said. Adam had a worried look on his face. 

He had never gotten into a fight in his life. Everyone loved Billy so if Adam even laid a finger on him he would get beaten up every day of his life. On the other hand, if he didn't fight back then he would nearly 100% get knocked out or even break a bone. He thought of not even going but Billy would probably hurt him even more. 

The school bell rang and Adam ran to the front door. He needed to plan and the best place to plan was in his house. He began to run down to his house. He wanted to get as far away from Billy as he could before the fight. 

He ran through the front door into his house. He ran up to his mum and hugged her. "I'm scared," he said as a tear rolled down his cheek. One by one more and more came until he was crying in his mum's chest. His mum was shocked. She told him to go sit down. They both sat down on the couch and he explained what had just happened. His mum was supportive. She told him to go to the fight which gave him courage. He looked at his watch. 5:30. He said goodbye to his mum and ran down to Town Square.

He arrived there to see a whole load of the kids from his school standing in a circle. Of course, in the middle of that circle was Billy. He turned around and looked straight at Adam. The people in the circle moved out of Billy's way. Adam looked at Billy in the eyes and walked over to him. The circle of kids followed. 

3, 2, 1 and the fight begun. Adam jumped up dodging Billy's first attack but was grabbed and smashed down into the concrete. Adam could hear a crack and could feel a bone in his arm breaking. Billy pulled him up again and this time Adam could feel his leg. Then Adam smashed him into the ground and everything went black...

1 week later...

Adam awoke. He was in hospital. His leg was up in the air and had a cast on it. His arm also had a cast on it. His mum, dad, and siblings were looking at him around the hospital bed. "Thank god your okay!" she said hugging him.

She began to tell him about how she found him in town square. He was lying on the ground unconscious. His right arm and left leg were both flat on the ground. She called an ambulance that took him to the hospital. Adam reached into his pocket. His Nintendo DS wasn't there. It had been broken. He tried not to cry but he couldn't. His tears burnt the cast and he felt the worst pain he had ever felt...
