Janai huffed angrily, circling the imprisoned General in the ring of fire. "Why won't you say something human? Am I not scary enough?" Janai stopped, squinting to see the burning light in the prisoner's eyes.
The General simply snarled, making swift shaking motions with her chained hands, unable to respond. Janai sighed in defeat.
"You don't speak, do you, human?" Janai settled, kneeling just in front of the chained prisoner. The General shook her head, still snarling.
Janai shrugged, "fine, I will just interrogate you tomorrow." The Sunfire Elf took note of the General's expression before abruptly leaving the ring of fire.

Early the next morning, Janai convinced an expert linguist and translator to accompany her to the prisoner.
The meeting was brief, yet proved just as annoying as before. Janai unbound the human General.
She asked the expected questions, mainly curious about human activities across the border. Her translator, Kazi, translated the words expertly, their hands moving swiftly and fluidly.
Janai raised an eyebrow when the human actually responded, but it wasn't what she'd hoped for.
Kazi struggled to find an appropriate translation, their face burning red in embarrassment. Janai understood, and her anger was undeniable.
The General only waited smugly, smirking, even when Janai had grabbed her jaw directly. Only did the human's eyes widen, when the Golden Knight grabbed her by the arms, and cuffed her wrists.
