I walked along and trail in the wood
Bare feet meeting the earthy ground
In my head, I'll come here, since childhood
This is where I go to be found
The scent of fresh pine entering my nose
The sounds of young birds singing their song
This is the path I have always chose
The path I have known all along
I find myself at a stream
The coolness of the water pools at my feet
Everything is as it seems
There is nothing in me to defeat
A butterfly soars by my head
So wild, beautiful and free
I awaken with a smile in my bed
Everything is how it should be
