"Just 2 more hours" A'Meenha sighed.

It was a beautiful day in Chicago for June, not too too hot and far from cold. Nevertheless it was still hot outside and Target wasn't where Meenha wanted to be. Duty calls though and she just wanted to make sure she had enough money saved up for when she went back off to college in August. Good thing she got off at three today. After work, she planned to go out to eat, to the lakefront and hit up the beach with some friends and enjoy their days leading up to Fourth of July weekend. She had 4 more weeks until she left and she wanted to make the best of the rest of her time at home. However, fighting and breaking up with her boyfriend A'Shaun 2 weeks ago for the millionth time out of their five almost six year relationship wasn't how she seen her summer going. A'Shaun Cameron Lane, just the thought of him she wanted to cry.
This break up was one of the worse though. They haven't seen or spoken to each other since. He tried calling the first few days but soon enough she just blocked his number altogether. A'Meenha just couldn't put up with Shaun's constant lies and games no more. A'Meenha punched A'Shaun clean in his mouth before the sentence "I didn't even..." finished coming out. She was just sick of his shit and before he registered what happened she was already in her car pulling off.

"Mrs. Lane" Troy, Meenha's boss called out to her.

She hadn't realized she'd been wandering around the store the last hour just thinking about the last two years of her life with Shaun. They've been through so much together, good and bad. Shaun wasn't always the bad guy. Meenha had her share of things she can be blamed for too over the years. They always seemed to patch things up though. Even going for weeks at a time without speaking. So this was normal for them, but something about this time...A'Meenha just thought she was done for real but she was scared to face it. If she was really done this time, she'd have to come to terms with the fact that A'Shaun wouldnt be in her life anymore and thats what hurt the most cause she was way past in love with him. Of course there were others who caught her attention but nobody managed to keep her interested the way Shaun did. Even if they did she never kept them around long enough because whatever little feelings she would have for them, any if at all, would eventually fade. Either they'd do something that turned her off from them completely or she just plain lost interest and was sick of them. It was always so different with A'Shaun she continued thinking to herself. He made her so happy. Smiles stayed plastered on both of their faces when they were together. How and when did it get so bad? A'Meenha could think of a couple times but something was distracting her right now.

"Meenha, I know you hear me!" Troy called at her again

"Yes, i'm sorry. What's up?" She said distressed

"Finally! Back to earth girl" he chuckled, "You seen Kenyatta?" He asked eagerly

"Not since earlier, why?" She questioned with raised brows.

Everybody at work knew Troy James messed around with Kenyatta Brewer. Hell, she messed around with everybody. It's been said she messed around with her Ex's daddy but that ain't none of my business.

"And you think you funny calling me Shaun last name huh? Yeah I heard you" she snapped

He laughed again, "It's not like that, I just wanted to know where she was so I can thank her for folding and putting up all those pants in the back like I asked her and is there trouble in paradise?" he smirked

A'Meenha heated up cause she was the one who actually slaved in the back earlier doing all the hard work since she was told by Kenyatta that Troy wanted her to do it while she was God knows where doing what. She wasn't even about to play into anything he had to say about her and Shaun cause Troy has always crushed on her and was just looking for his moment but before she could tell Troy anything he had already disappeared off somewhere. She looked down at her MK watch she bought her self for her birthday last month and seen she only had 20 mins of her shift left.
