This is another story I'm working on. I stoppped writing A Risk I'm Willing to Take due to the fact of writers block... I'v been stuck for a couple weeks now.... but I'll continue shortly. I just need some more inspiration.
--------------------
What more could people want from me. I'm just one girl... One person, but no friends. Just me. All alone. I go to a small...small school. My class has 12 people. Oh and I'm a sophomore in high school. Age... 16. No biological parents. No siblings. Again, just me. No one to rely on, and no one to rely on me. Just silly ol' lonely Phaedra. Yep, that's my name... Phaedra. Some how I have a feeling that one of my parents were into the Greek Mythology at the time.
My school doesn't talk to or about me. I'm just the tall blonde hiding under the hood of a tattered navy blue sweat-shirt that I've owned for years now. I stopped growing when I was 11. Tall and slender. After I hit puberty my eye color changed into a deep sapphire blue with a gold rim, but no one has even took the time to even notice the strange beauty in them, let alone look at me at all. Until this one miraculous day this boy walked right into the 1st period Health room doors, where I sat with my head down and hood up in the far south corner of the room. Which, knowing my classmates, the only open seat had to be right next to me.
"Hey. I'm Zander," he said while strutting across the room to the seat next to me after talking to the teacher.
I just so happened to peek up over my arm to see this stunningly tall guy with dark dark black shiny hair that was spiked to the tip. his facial features were flawless, intense jaw line, such pretty emerald green eyes, full lips and when he smiled when he caught me staring... He chuckled. I then noticed I was drooling. He was wearing these baggy but slim fitting jeans with a band tee and a leather jacket
He turned around and i smacked my head back on my arms and into the darkness and the coolness of the desk. I heard him rustle around a bit in front of me. Unaware of the distraction he was causing he merely turned around and simply just asked.
"Do you have a pencil that I can borrow?"
Yes I did have a pencil. So being the modest person that I was, I slumped over my bag and grabbed a mechanical blue pencil out of the front pocket and gave it to him. When he reached for it we both stopped and just held the pencil. His eyes averted to mine and we just stared. His eyes were so deep and passionate.
So after about half a minute I broke our gaze and layed my head back down. He chuckled a little and turned back around. When the bell finally rang, Zander handed me a note and swiftly strolled away. Not wanting to read it now, I grabbed my bag and slumped to homeroom.
I walked into homeroom and sat on the couch in the corner. I glanced up and what do you know. He's leisurly making his way back to the couch. Fricken great. I sat there and stared at my computer screen without looking at him.
"Here's your pencil back. Sorry. I kind of just forgot." he said sticking the pencil in my face. I grabbed the pencil and set it in my jacket pocket. "What's your name?"
"Phaedra..." I said without meeting his burning gaze.
"Phaedra... Like the Greek Gods... Pretty."
I just so happened to uncontrollably look up to find him staring at the wall behind me and smirking. He then let out a soft laugh and looked down at me. I looked away quickly. He stepped to the left and sat next to me. I could tell he was trying to make conversation, and unsuccessfully completing his mission.
"So how old are you anyway?" He said trying to find my gaze.
"16."
"That's cool. I'm 17. Just turned 17 actually. My birthday was about a month ago." He said. I just smiled and peeked out of the corner of my eye. He was staring at me... Like in an adoring stare. I turned my head a little more...then the stupid bell rang. Damnit!
