I walk through the woods in the training ground lost in thought. Thanksgiving is tomorrow. My feet crunch in the Orange, yellow, and red fallen leaves as I walk on the covered path. Some leaves fall like freshly fallen snow around me. The wind lightly blows my golden hair black that I left down. My blue eyes focused on nothing in particular as I think about what Kakashi and I did a while back.

I pull a strand of my hair out of my face with my hand. It's been exactly three weeks since I was on the front lines. I had visited Yagura in the raptor's home where I explained my reasoning for why I was doing what I was doing. He said he didn't mind and would work on healing and befriending Isobu there. I had made sure the raptor squad would be there to help him in his quest to befriending Isobu should be need it.

"It sure is beautiful this time of year," I mumbled to myself as I watched some leaves fly across my face and onto the ground.

"Hello, Reika." Hinata came running in my direction seeming out of breath.

I smiled softly to her standing still as she slowed down as she neared. As soon as she caught up we walked side by side.

"Hey Hinata." I spoke quietly.

"You're looking better." I nodded in thanks which she beamed at.

"Oh," she snapped out of her thoughts as she put her fist to her palm. "I have been looking for you everywhere for a while now."

I tilted my head to the side, "Why?" I honestly didn't know why but something deep inside me was saying I should.

"The platoon Kakashi was in ran into some trouble and the ones who made it back are heavily injured." At this I felt my heart drop. Sure he has broke me, but I don't believe he should be alone at a time like this. He is my friend.

"Is Kakashi?" I couldn't even ask it.

But Hinata just shook her head. "He was one of the fortunate ones. He is at the hospital getting a check up, but he should be fine. I heard he will be on bed rest at his home, though."

Tears brimming in my eyes I thanked Kami quietly and bowed to Hinata in thanks before running to Kakashi's place.

If she heard this and have been looking for me for a while, he should be home by now. My hair flies behind me as I ran as fast as I could. To anyone else, they couldn't see me. Nor my hair, not even a blur. I took to the rooftops as soon as of got to the busy streets. I had sent a clone home to let them know I was going to be checking up on Kakashi at his place and probably won't be home until late tonight.

As soon as I got to the home district where Kakashi's place is, I jumped down but I had hit a nearby building scraping the side of my arm. Steam coming off of it from Kurama healing it I ran to his house where I ran around back.

I jumped to his bedroom window seeing him sitting there reading. I still had tears running down my face as I knocked quietly. A lot of people were hurt, he may be fine physically, but he is hurting inside.

He looked to the window and seeing my tears he stood up quickly opening the window and wrapped his arms around me as soon as I jumped into his arms.

"Its not your fault." I stated knowing he was blaming himself for them. He closed the window with one hand and pulled me into the bed with him.

I just kept telling him that he was not to blame for the others and I felt him smile. Confused I pulled myself away to look at him as I felt his hand on my cheek. I leaned into it as he spoke quietly, "How is it you know just what I'm thinking?" He was genuinely astonished.

"Its because I know you." I spoke quietly as he leaned in close. I took note on how his mask was off and I shook my head to rid myself of those thoughts. I am here as his friend as much as my heart aches, I must not be selfish.
