Leah's POV--

My stress levels were beginning to go through the roof as the seconds passed. It was half passed six and the only thing I could do at the moment was pace back and forth down the hall in Harry's flat, biting my nails in the process. I couldn't believe he was almost a day late to come home, and to top it all off, it was Christmas Eve. He promised me that he would be home by the twenty-third, which would allow us to have all of Christmas Eve and Christmas day together, but as the time went on, it looked as if I was spending the holiday alone.

I hadn't even heard anything from him either, and that made me feel sick to my stomach, thinking about why he wouldn't call me. He knew how important today was for me because I wanted to actually spend time with each other, so what if something really did happen to him? Freaking out even more, I rushed into the kitchen to grab my cell phone and ring Harry. I had to try one more time in case there was just something wrong with his phone or cell connection the last couple times I tried.

As the dial tone rang in my ear, I started to prepare myself for the worst. I knew something had to of happened, so I needed to get ready for the bad news. However, before I was going to give up and convince myself that something happened to Harry, I decided to ring him once more. No answer.

How could that be happening to me? What did I do to deserve a missing boyfriend on Christmas? I just wanted to have a fun and relaxing holiday after barely seeing each other for over a month. Was that too much to ask?

"Harry, please come home," I mumbled under my breath while settling in on his bed and borrowing my head into his pile of pillows. For a guy who lived alone, he sure did have a ton of pillows.

I may have lied in his bed for at least fifteen minutes, when something caught my attention. It sounded as if someone was trying to get inside the flat. Trying not to panic, I grasped onto one of his pillows, a great weapon, right? I then began to make my way to the front door. As I stayed quiet and tiptoeing my way there, I kept hearing someone mumbling something and the occasional banging on the door. Whoever it was was more than persistant to get inside and getting frustrated that he or she was failing. Just when I was going to look through the peep hole to see who the intruder was, I heard his voice.

"Leah, are you in there?" The sound of my name caused me to stop in my tracks. "If you're in there, do you think you could open the door. I seemed to have left my-"

"Harry," I gasped, swinging the door open and stopping him mid-sentence.

"Hey. Merry Christmas."

Without exchanging any other words, I lunged towards him, causing him to drop his bags on the floor and wrap me up in his arms. I had never wanted to be with him as badly as I did right then. I couldn't even believe I was worried that something bad happened. His hug was soon followed by kisses starting on the top of my head trailing all the way down to my lips. They were just what I needed after not being with him for so long.

"Looks like someone missed me," He said, breaking us apart and making me whimper at the loss of his connection.

"Of course I did. Why are you so late though? I was beginning to think that you weren't going to make it home in time."

"Because we were back in New York, there was snow that caused a huge back up at the airport. I tried to call and tell you, but the service at the airport was terrible. Then it got to the point where I was just so focused on getting to you that I didn't even think to call when I landed. I'm really sorry." His reasoning sounded honest, so I nodded my head in response. "How about we make our way inside now? I have something I want to give you as an early present since I was late."

He and I picked his bags up off the floor and headed inside. We barely made it three steps before he closed the door behind us and made me stop. I assumed he was just as excited to give me the gift as I was to recieve it.

"Okay, I had a lot of time to think about what I was going to say when I give this to you, but everything I came up with just sounded cheesey. I just want you to know that I love you more than anything, and you are the girl I see myself with forever and always." He paused, taking a deep breath and pulling something out of his pocket. My jaw dropped to the ground when I saw that it was a the imfamous tiny black box.
