Emily P.O.V
I hurried down the stairs, about to go to my next class. As I ran, trying to avoid all the stares, I couldn't help but think about how it would be if I didn't make that mistake two months ago. It's funny how the decisions you make now, will influence your future. As I was about to enter my maths class, someone poked me on my back. Without much thought, I turned around. I saw a familiar face. It was one of my classmates. Although I didn't like most ofthe people in my year, I only disliked those who deserved it. This guy, Pete, was quite okay. I never talked to him before, so I was wondering what he wanted.
''Yes?'', I asked, trying to sound nice. He answered. ''I was wondering if you were busy after school today? I thought you might want to come to the cinema with me after school?''
<Did he really just say that !? I have never been out on a date before! I was really surprised, but joyful at the same time ! Even though I didn't know him too well, the people he hung out with didn't seem unsafe, and also he seemed like a nice guy. I was going to say yes because staying at home was so boring, and going to a cinema with a boy seemed like a cool idea to me.>
''Umm, sure'' I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
''I'll see you in front of the school at 7 then!''
And as he went of, my daydream was stopped by my teacher.
''Emily! Wakey, wakey, get into class. No time for daydreams when you could be learning.''
''Sorry.'', I blurted out as I hurried to my seat. What a prick my teacher was.
