Chapter 12 - Witness of Love
Audrianna's POV
We're here in a mall where Ace's parents had their first date. Hawak niya pa rin ang kamay ko and people are staring at us.
"Should we eat first?"
"Sure, para may energy for our date." I said.
We sat on a table for two just beside the glass wall.
Binigyan kami ng menu ng isang waiter. My eyes widened when I saw the prices of the foods. It costs too much. In the end, I just ordered a white pasta and a strawberry shake. Kumunot ang noo ni Ace saakin. And, he ordered a lot of foods.
"Ace, that's too much for a first date!" pagsaway ko sakanya dahil hindi siya na-tigil sa pag-order. This is our first date, why is he spending so much money?!
Ace looks at me and nodded. We returned the menus and the waiter walk away for our orders.
"You should eat more, you know," Ace said.
Umirap ako. "I'm not a big-eater, Ace. I can eat a lot but I have my limitations," I said.
"This is where my mother and father dined on their first date." Ace suddenly said. "I chose here because I wanted to remember my parents when they dined here," he said, a bit nostalgic.
"Are you really serious about going to the places where your parents had their first date?" I asked.
Tumango si Ace saakin. "Yes," he said. "Let's say you're Arachne Lu for tonight and i'll be Chanyeol Park?" he said, smirked.
I rolled my eyes. "Ayoko nga! Let's have an originality. Though, I like to act as Tita Arachne, I still want to be original." I said.
Ace just shrugged. "If you so," he said.
Few minutes later, the waiter arrived in our table holding a tray with foods in it.
We started eating our food while talking. "So.. the professor back in our classroom is your uncle?" I asked.
"Yeah," he said. "He's eldest between him and my mother," he added.
"So, why is he here and how is he connected with Mrs. Villañor?" I asked and took a sip on my shake.
"Well based on the stories, Mrs. Villañor is a family-friend and my uncle's godmother. Tito Xavier is handling my grandparents business but he wanted to be a professor. He was taught by Mrs. Villañor, herself," Ace said and he wipe his mouth with a tissue.
"So, your Tito Xavier being a professor is his part time job? Isn't he loaded with papers in his office from his investors or what?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Hindi naman. Magtuturo lang siya kapag may emergency si Mrs. Villañor. About the business, my grandfather is also helping my Tito. So, he has nothing to worry about," Ace explained and finished his steak.
I nodded as I finish my white pasta. "Your Tito mentioned about Amethyst's birthday. I thought you're keeping your sister from the media? Is she hosting a birthday party?" I asked.
