"You'll be alright won't you love? I can take the day off." Jay said, sitting on the edge of Louis' bed on Wednesday morning before she left to take the girls to school.
"I'll be fine, I'm a big boy now mum."
"I know but you'll always be my little boobear."
"Mum, we agreed you weren't allowed to call me that name anymore."
"Sorry darling, call me though okay. If you need anything, I'll call around 12 on my lunch break and Harry will be here around 2:30 with the twins, talk to him will you. I know you're shy and all but he's not gonna hurt you."
"I think you'll find, we had a proper long conversation Monday night, like 1 and a half episodes of How I Met Your Mother long."
"Okay love, I should probably get going." She laughed.
"See you tonight."
His mum lent down and kissed him on the forehead, smiling and closing the door behind her as she left.
Louis must of fallen asleep again because when he next checked the clock it was 3:15 and he'd gotten himself out of bed and was in the kitchen. There was a blanket and some of the nicer pillows spread out on the sofa that his mum had probably put there for him. It made him jump when the front door swung open.
"Pheebs, be quiet, Louis' poorly." Harry said, following Phoebe into the house with Daisy on his hip, asleep with her head on his shoulder.
"No! He's awake Harry see!" Phoebe said, running over to the sofa and pulling herself onto it, cuddling up to Louis.
"Hi." Louis said to her, tickling under her chin and bringing a squeak out of the three year old.
"Still poorly?"
"I am indeed."
"That means you can't play." She huffed, shuffling down off the sofa and running into the conservatory area that was used as a play room.
Louis laughed lightly to himself, used the antics of younger sisters as Harry came back down from upstairs where he'd put Daisy down. He smiled at Louis and went into the kitchen, probably to unpack the bags that the twins took with them to nursery. Harry re-entered the living room again with a glass of water and sat down on the armchair, watching the TV and taking a glance over to the playroom every now and then where Phoebe was sat talking to herself.
"How you feeling?" Harry asked.
"Hmm, I'm alright I guess." Louis replied, turning his body towards Harry.
"I'll tell your mum that you're not great so you'll get another day off school?"
"I actually like school."
"Oh dear Louis, you can try and trick yourself as much as you want but no one likes school."
"No I actually do! Well, I mean sometimes, I'd rather not go in most days."
"Exactly. Come on, talk to uncle Harry, tell me your problems." Harry grinned, leaning forward.
"Uncle Harry? That sounds so weird." Louis laughed.
"Oh god, it really does, let's pretend I never said that."
"I agree, uncle Harry."
"Stop!" Harry whined with a laugh.
Louis giggled, ignoring how Harry stopped laughing and watched him.
"Now you stop, it's creepy."
