What We Leave Behind

"Finish Line"(Chapter Eleven)

     To every runner there are only two lines that are important, the starting line and the finish line. For Barry Allen his starting line was the death of his mother, everything that happened in his life began there. Now Barry expects to finish his race soon.

    Barry Allen has just exited the portal to Earth-38. As Barry exited he sees the Wold Killer facing him down. Barry Allen's plan that he developed just went out the door and he had to quickly improvise, so he ran straight at The World Killer going from zero to my god less then a second. As he ran he grabbed the World Killer and began to vibrate at the frequency of a dead Earth, the portal opened and Barry ran through.

    The multiverse is filled with many Earths a lot of which thrived while some did not. The Earths that failed to thrive are called "Dead Earths" they are barren waste lands that no one who knows about the multiverse care about and always fall into forgotten memory.

    After landing on the dead Earth Barry drops the World Killer on the ground. As the World Killer falls to the ground Barry runs in a circle and opens up the Speed Force. Once inside the Speed Force Barry removes the Quark Sphere causing a Speed force storm to appear around them. Finally slowing down Barry takes a deep breath and stares down the World Killer. As the lighting from the Speed Force strikes down around the two no words were spared. After about a minute of nothing happening Barry tosses the Quark Sphere back into the Speed Force. The World Killer finally talks and she rasps out "Why did you bring us here"

    At the question Barry smiled and said "I swore to never kill unless absolutely necessary, so I figured a trap might work. As you just saw my most recent trap has had some unintended side effects. One of which his the lightning, it hits the Earth with enough force to change its vibrational frequency. Basically you and me we are trapped here."

    At that the World Killer smiles, like a predator watching its prey, and says "What is your escape. I know you have one. Only an idiot would trap himself in his own trap."

    "Welp, looks like I'm an idiot then" Barry goes on to reply

     At that the World Killer lets out a scream and charges Barry. Out of pure reflex Barry Vibrates his hand at a rapid pace and begins to target key points on the kryptonian's body. Barry knew that he could not get hit because if he did it would most likely kill him from the sheer intensity she was putting behind each blow. Miss after miss lead the World Killer to get even more enraged and finally stomped the ground as hard as she could creating a seismic wave that nocked Barry off his feet and onto the ground. Closing his eyes Barry enters Flash Time, he began watch as the killing blow was about to hit him. Out of nowhere a rush of adrenaline hits Barry and he finishes off the World Killer with a vibrating hand through the brain. 

     Barry Allen did not expect to survive so he had no idea how to leave this Earth. Barry Allen has reached his finished line
