The Notebook

LAUREN was making another story in her notebook this time, it was all about Camila. She was writing for straight hours, she didn't even notice the time she was consumed just for writing. She was lost in her own story. It was 2 in the afternoon when she realized it, she was writing for 5 hours straight!

Lauren just stopped writing when she felt her stomach growling. She forgot to eat lunch after taking her clothes in the laundry.

"Damn I didn't notice the time," and she sighed and put down the ballpoint pen, she stood and stretched her body, then she look at the cherry blossom tree, "it's already 2mos when I last saw Camila after the night of my birthday, even in the Academy and damn she was avoiding me, it was like I will spend Christmas alone huh," her lips curved into smile but deep inside she was hurting, she lost her bestfriend.

Camila and Shawn's in a relationship had already spread throughout the Academy. Lauren was already expected it and she accepted it, it was better, for the students gave more respect to the Council. Camila broke her promised, it was like they're relationship has slowly fading away. She knows Shawn, he will not stop until he didn't get what he wants and Camila was one of it.

She was ready to get out of her room when her laptop started to ring, a notification letter. She went to her study table where she place her laptop and sat in a chair.

"J.BOSS Publishing Company," she said after reading the notif and she remember, she submitted one of her story to let out her frustration about Shawmila that was their tandem that the students made, J.BOSS Publishing Company throughout the States is the best publishing company! It has a branch in Miami though the main branch is in Sweden and now she was receiving an e-mail from them.

Lauren doubted to open the email but in the end she decided to open it, nothing will lose since she lost everything, "woah!" Lauren exclaimed, widening her eyes after she read that mail, "they wanted my story, they want to work with me," and she chuckled, "YES! YES!! WOOHH!!" and she heard a doorbell rings and it was continuous, "is that person trying to destroy my doorbell?" and she shut her laptop and went to her door.

LAUREN was surprised when she saw Camila in the door.

"Hey I heard you shouting, are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah I'm fine, what are you doing here? You're trying to destroy my doorbell."

"It's because I heard you screaming but looks like you're fine and well I wanted to talk to you."

"I see," and she made a way for her, "come in."

"Thanks," and she get in.

They sat in the couch, with distance with each other. Lauren stood and offered Camila a drink.

"Nothing has changed," Camila said when she roamed her eyes around the living room.

"No need to change, I'm comfortable and contented with these, I'm living alone so it's fine, there's no need."

"You were right."

'She's gotten more beauty, no matter how I despise Shawn I'm still glad he was taking good care of her,' "how are you?"

"I'm fine, how about you? Let's go out."

"I can't, the shop is opened 24hrs now and there's no available mechanic so I have to work until dawn."

"You must be tired."

"No I'm not, I'm getting used to it and besides I'm enjoying it," she gulped before she asked Camila about the relationship it had with Shawn, "how are you and Shawn?"

And Camila's eyes widen when she heard it from Lauren and she looked down, "y-you knew?"

"Well damn girl, I'm not deaf for not hearing those murmurs, so yes, I knew all along."

'That's it, no reaction from you? Lauren I'm expecting you will interrupt but you didn't. What if I tell you that we're not? That we're only making a show so I can continue my presidency in the Council, Lauren please fight for me, your love for me,' "sorry I didn't tell you right away."

"It's fine because I really understand."

And Camila nod, "the last day we talked, I really thought we had something to do in the Council but none, Shawn just asked me out."

'Why you didn't knew, you're a SCPresident, you love him that's the truth, that's why you let him and you didn't even bother to go back here, you just let him,' and she kept her mouth shut like she always do as a bestfriend, to listen even though it's breaking her heart. I kept darting my eyes every corner in my apartment while Camila talks about how Shawn courted her and how she said yes. I'm really not interested. "You seemed so happy to be with him, I'm glad that you are, congrats," and she clenched her teeth to stop her heart from breaking.

And Camila just nod.

After Camila and her talk, Camila left and told her that she and Shawn were going out. She started to feel numb after Shawmila incident, she let it pass don't want to hear it anymore. She went back to her room to read again the confirmation email.

AFTER a week, Lauren received her book which is her own story, it was her own copy and tomorrow it will be released in all bookstores in Miami. She used another name as her official pen name so that no one will know her identity she was not ready to reveal her identity yet. Maybe after her 4th story will published she will reveal herself, that was her requirements submit at least 4 stories, it was also her first book signing. She didn't leave behind her studies, the truth is she was having a medal this coming March and she chose her boss in the shop to wear it on her since Austin Mahone was like a father to her.

And after their last talk which is running for months now and she don't know if she was busy in the Council or to Shawn, even text or call none. It's better because she don't want to ruin anything.

"HAVE you noticed the students?" Dinah Jane Hansen asked to Camila while looking down from the window.

"What about them?"

"I'm kind of confused what they are reading, they're reading the same book and they are smiling all the time."

"Really huh," and she went to the window where Dinah is standing and look down and saw the students reading, "yeah they are."

"When I go home, I will buy the same book, it's all over in the internet so I'm curious, it looks like it's a good book you know."

"Hmm maybe we can stop now."

And Dinah look at to Camila, she knew how Camila loved Lauren and she felt sad for her because she was forced to do something that she doesn't want, "we can set a meeting with them."

"I hope it was just easy, I miss her so bad."

"If I knew how to jam the signal I do it."

Camila's phone was wiretapped, the Executives had gotten a hold of her she can't do anything, that's why she can't call Lauren any matter she wanted to. She was like a prisoner in her own world.

"I hope this will end, I'm tired already."

"Just a little bit more Walz, just hang on."

"I am trying," and Dinah embrace her, "I miss her so bad."
