Edd's P.O.V
Yelling and arguing. It's all I hear any day I step inside this house. The walls are the same eggshell white, the carpet is still stained with cola, and four colored jackets still lay around the house in a messy manner. It's still the same house I've always known. But the feeling has changed. The once moderately quiet house has now morphed into a charged atmosphere, with arguing and yelling threatening to spill in any crevice.
Tom and Tord have screaming matches all time of the day, with little regards to myself or Matt. Constant slurs are thrown, with the foulest language you could possibly hear. I mean, sure, Tom and Tord have never gotten along and there's always been bickering and arguing here and there; but now it's full blown with shrill voices and physical fighting.
I've gotten quite tired of it, and so has Matt. We haven't been able to sleep since they started, and I'm not looking to deal with this any longer. Which is why I got them a savings account with $1,500 saved. Of course it's their money, I've just been putting half of their rent money in it and paying that out of pocket.
I gather them up, the atmosphere thick with annoyance and hatred.
"Alright, Tom and Tord. It's become quite noticeable that you two are having a hard time getting along. Matt and I can't stand to hear yelling any more, so we have a solution."
"Oh boy...." Tom mumbles, rolling his eyes.
"You two are taking a road trip!" I shout, enthusiastically.
"What?!" They yell in unison.
"Edd, I'm not doing that. I'm not gonna be in a car with the Jehovah's Witness for more than half a second. Where would we even go?!" Tord flustered.
"Go anywhere. England is big enough for the two of you to have a road trip together! You'll be leaving by tomorrow, we'll give you the savings account information, and then road trip!" I stated.
Tom's P.O.V
Tord and I looked at each other in shock. No way in hell we were going to be in a car together, and alone, for a week.
I grabbed a Smirnoff from the fridge and stomped to my room. I wasn't taking this news very well; but I'll do it for Matt and Edd. Only for Matt and Edd.
Tord's P.O.V
"Edd, you're not serious, are you? If you think it's bad now, imagine putting us in a car alone for a long time!" I argued.
"You two are doing it, or you'll both move out." Edd stared coldly at me.
I felt a chill go down my spine. I had no choice but to shake my head yes and pack my bags.
