Kara had survived her first day at McKinley High, even though it was only two classes she followed. Today was a long day. She walked to her locker and opened it. She took her English and history books.

Kara waited in front of the door. She was five minutes early. ''Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see you, I was distracted by your body. You seem to get bigger every time I look at you'' Kara heard someone say behind her. She turned around. She was a girl in a cheerleader outfit walk away. She wasn't in her English class. ''Are you okay?'' Kara asked the girl. She looked up. ''I'm fine'' she said shy and walked into the classroom. Kara turned around and followed the rest of the class inside.

English class was boring. Kara almost regretted the fact that she came to school. The plus side of this boring school, was that she got free food in the cafetaria so she wouldn't have to beg for it on the streets. ''Do you know the answer, Rebecca?'' her teacher said. Kara got sucked out of her thoughts and looked to the man. ''No'' she said. ''Maybe you need a little more time to think about it.''

''No, I don't. I do not know the answer'' Kara sighed. ''You're rude. You better change your attitude or you can go to Figgins.''

''I am sorry, sir'' Kara said and tried to focus on the rest of the class. It was harder than she thought. Lucky for her, before he could ask her the next thing, the schoolbell rang and class was over. Her next class was history.

She saw the girl again. She had brown hair, blue eyes and wore a cute hat. ''You can sit there'' the teacher said to Kara. She pointed to that girl. Kara sat down next to her and put her books on the table. ''Hi'' Kara said. ''Hello'' she said. With this class Kara could acuallt pas attention. She was interested in history. The history of Earth-29 was very different from her earth. She needed to learn everything again.

Lunchtime: the only moment of the day Kara could eat a normal meal. She took a tray and passed the kitchen. The Lunchladies scoopted up the food. ''Thank you'' Kara said polite. She sat down at a table, where nobody sat, yet. But soon some cheerleaders surrounded her. ''We always sit here'' a girl said. Kara didn't say anything. ''Are you deaf?'' the same girl said angry. ''No, I just don't care. I sit here now, find another table'' Kara said. ''Do you know who I am?''

''No.''

''I am Bree, head cheerleader and most popular girl in this school. You will listen to me.''

Kara was about to respond when she closed her mouth again. If she even knew what I was capable of, Kara thought. ''I am very sorry'' she said instead, stood up and walked away. The cheeleaders took the table. Kara had no idea where to sit now, every table was taken. She put her lunch in her schoolbag and walked to the toilets.

Kara looked into the mirror. She missed Alex so much. The first time she was in highschool Alex was always there for her, even though she hated her. It still felt good. Now she was just lonely. She took off her glasses, put them down and washed her face with cold water. It was refreshing. Then she heard someone sniffing behind her. Kara grabbed her glasses and put them on again. She knocked on the door. ''Are you okay in there?'' she asked. ''Leave me alone'' a familiar voice answered. ''Marley?''

''How do you know my name?'' the girl paniced. ''Because I sit next to you in history class'' Kara told her. ''Rebecca?'' Marley didn't sound too happy about it. ''Uhm, yes that's me'' Kara said, remembering she called herself Rebecca at this school. ''Leave me alone'' Marley said. ''Whatever'' Kara said and grabbed her bag. But instead of leaving, she stayed in the toilet. Marley opened the door and looked into the mirror. Her eyes were full of tears. ''What happened?'' Kara asked. Marley freaked out. ''I thought I told you to leave me alone!'' she said. ''Why were you crying?''
