In love with Death...

Chapter 1

Let me introduce myself I am Astraea I was raised in the hunt of the Greek goddess Artemis let me explain, I was only an orphan left in the woods when Artemis herself stumbled upon the path were I slept. She took me in and raised me with the help of all the hunters,she named me after Astraea who is a Minor goddess of stars,that was when Ancient Greeks walked the earth nearly 2,500 years ago.
Now let's begin this tale

I woke up early in the morning and got out of my sleeping bag and changed into my usual grey hoodie,ripped jeans and red sneakers. I stepped outside of the tent and saw as a ton of huntresses walk around the camp doing jobs that went from cleaning the weapons from last night's hunt to giving reports to the Head Huntress about the latest Monster sightings. I walked over to Marina,the newest Hunter, Who was sitting on a log slumped over a picture of a little girl and a man who I guessed was her younger self and her brother who died a year ago from what I heard
"Hey Marina" I knelt down to see her Amber eyes puffy and looked like she didn't sleep at all "you still adjusting to the Huntress life?" I asked hoping to get her attention away from the picture
"Yeah it's still weird to know the Greek gods are real!" Marina chuckled
"I wouldn't know because I was adopted into the hunt I never really lived in the mortal life" I always wondered what it was like to live in the mortal world,not always hunting monsters,not having to wake up early to clean the camp then set it up in a different place.
"I think you would have liked it" Marina started to talk about what it was like to grow up in the mortal realm she told me that she originally came from England which is a different country and that she went to school and had tons of friends until her family moved to this country.
"Astraea. Lady Artemis wants to talk with you" I turned around to see the Head Huntress,She was Called Selina she was practically my mother I even call her Mom, "ok ma" I got up and walked over to the biggest tent that was in the back of the whole camp,as I walked I felt like something bad was going to happen but I shook of the feeling as I entered Lady Artemis's tent

"You wanted me Lady Artemis?" I asked as I watched as the tall women tied up her black hair and pushed it out of her blue eyes that seemed to be whiter than the moon when she looked at me
"Ah! Astraea it's wonderful to see you" Lady Artemis stood up from the plush pillow she sat on and walked over to me "I need you to scout the woods because 3 of our Hunters have gone missing and you are our best scout" Lady Artemis Explained as she put her hand on my shoulder. "Of course I shall head off right now" I smiled and as about as I walked out of the tent I heard Lady Artemis say "be careful" which I responded with a happy smile.

I went back to my tent and grabbed some chips,water,a bow & quiver filled with arrows and finally my two silver daggers that had golden writing in Latin that said Ferrum in hac luceat lux lunae it meant 'let the moon shine on this blade' apparently these blades were laid next to me when I was a newborn.
I walked among the trees and looked around for any Hunters or any monsters that would have to pay the price of hurting The Hunters Of Artemis but as I walked I let that feeling that something bad was going to happen and before I could see a weapon that glittered in the forest I felt something go through my stomach and I fell to the ground with everything turning black......

Everything was so cold....I felt like I was falling into a deep canyon that I would never fall to the bottom...

Suddenly I fell onto stone and I looked up to see a throne and sitting on it in all his glory was the God of death himself Hades.....but why did I see him... that's what I wanted to know and I will get the answer....
