RING RING RI- Pearl quickly shut off his alarm and got up to get ready for his shift he just put on a blue collared shirt and some navy blue jeans. Pearl was 18 he moved into a house that his parents pay for until he can get a better job. He grabbed his bag and walked over to the town library he sat down and waited for his shift to be done."Hey can I get a book about lions" Said a little boy "Uh yeah sure let me get it" Pearl said standing up sooner or later he found a book that the little boy wanted and he walked away with a big smile on his face.
I always wanted to see a human maybe I can go up by the shore line and take a little peek Lapis thought. She swam up close to the surface and saw a human with Peach hair she saw him and tried to swim away before she got picked up from the water she blushed hard as the human looked confused "your a mermaid!" he exclaimed " yeah" Lapis said bluntly "Oh well don't you need water to breathe?" He said concerned "No but I would like to go back into the ocean" Lapis said "wait before you go" He said "what?" The mermaid said annoyed "What's your name" "Lapis" "Pearl, also now you can go" Pearl said dropping Lapis into the ocean. Lapis went into the water but stuck her head out at Pearl who was watching "Wanna come over to the kingdom I can help you breathe underwater" Lapis said "How are you going to do that" Pearl said looking concerned. "I have my ways" Lapis said dragging Pearl into the water Lapis pecked Pearl on the cheek and he got a mermaid tail both of them blushed like crazy but it was worth it. "Just make sure we never speak of it again and also don't give yourself away" Lapis said chuckling. Lapis swam down into the ocean making sure that Pearl would still be behind her. They stopped at a patch of seaweed "Hey pearl" Lapis said nudging her "Welcome to Sootopilus (Soo -top- il- us)
