He was a man of holy nature said the crucibles on his wall
Yet his life was one of sin said the tears running down his cheeks.
He confessed in brutal honesty said the crimson curtain he was hiding his guilt behind
His priest said all was forgiven in his eyes but he didn’t believe it,so said his nerves.
He knew, although it was all in the name of his beliefs, he could not forgive all he’s done.
He’ll make it right said all the empty promises with no backbone to hold them up right

For a time he knew not of reality said his constant and far gaze
Although it was won he could not help but feel like he lost
For all he saw when he closed his eyes were the faces of them .
He was lost in his world not knowing what surrounded him
It was too late said the man paid to be his friend
There was naught a thing you can do to change the past.

He was alone a while too long said the bowels all over his stay
He thinks it is the only way to redeem his sins
And as the roped dropped ,the crimson curtain of his life closed
