Married To My Private School Teacher

Chapter 1

I stand in one of the spare rooms of my Dads house, looking into the mirror as I wear my big white wedding dress as Alice walks around me adding little touches to me. I am nervous but so excited to be entering the next chapter of my life. This whole wedding thing has been all over the news because of who I am becoming and who my husband to be very soon is.

"I can't believe you're getting married, I mean, it's about time but you left us waiting for this day for so long, I think everyone was starting to wonder if it was actually going to happen" Alice says.

"I know, it has taken a while, but a lot has happened in the time" I say as she repositions me.

"I know, but 6 years, it's taken you guys 6 years to finally do this" She points out.

"A lot has happened in 6 years Ali, starting with my career in acting, Stefan has worked at 3 different schools just because he hasn't been welcomed at them, and even Stan bless him has stuck by Stefan and they've worked at the same schools, and then there's been you guys, I mean look at you, you're a helping me with getting ready for my big day, even though you're your own boss with a dating agency, Jake is a police officer, Eli is a newly qualified vet, and Finn is a photographer, too much has happened for anyone to think about today, today is the perfect day to do this" I explain.

"You're right, as long as you are happy, and Stefan is happy" She says.

Knock Knock

"Who's ready to get married?" Dad asks as he enters the room.

"I so am ready for get married" Alice says as she sighs, making Dad and I chuckle, she's been dropping hints at Jake for a while now, they've been together since school and he still hasn't asked her anything other than to live with him, but the proposal just isn't happening yet.

"Hey Dad" I greet.

"You look so beautiful sweetheart" He says as he walks over and kisses my cheek.

"Uh-uh, don't ruin the make-up" Alice warns.

"It's fine Ali, I'm not wearing that much anyway" I say.

"No she's right" Dad says as he backs of whilst chuckling.

"Ok, you're now ready to get married" Alice jumps up.

"And it's time to get you there" Dad says looking at his watch. Yes, time to get married.

"Lets go and get me married" I say excitedly as I take a deep breath. I'm becoming a wife in the next couple of hours, I'm going to have a husband, I have been calling him my fiance for the last 6 years.

We get going and are driven to the wedding in a limo we hired, I may be an actress but I don't own my own limo.. yet. We have a glass of champagne on the way there and have a laugh.

"I think it's a good time for you to get married now you know" Dad says as I finish my small glass. We were planning a more summer wedding, but we have waited long enough, plus we have our careers in the way too, so we decided to finally do this before something else happened that delayed us any more, so we have a mid March wedding.

"Why now?" I ask curiously.

"I feel like I'm ready to become a grandfather, I mean I would say father-in-law, but I've pretty much been Stefan's in-law since your engagement, now I wouldn't mind a couple of little grandkids" He says. Stefan and I do not have children yet, that's another thing that he is desperate for, making me a mother to his kids, but like I said, we've been too busy over the years. Maybe one day now we're marrying at last.

"Dad, please, one thing at a time" I chuckle.

"God I wish Jake was more like Stefan in some ways, I feel ready to completely settle down, marry and have kids, but he just seems comfortable with how our lives are now, just living together as a couple" Alice says.
