The Turn

"Are you ready Timmy?"

She took a deep breathe, grabbed her bear & ran upstairs hoping that everything goes well. But suddenly she heard a knock in the attic.

"Lub dub lub dub"

Her heart started beating fast, tiny drops of sweat started dripping off her forehead. Her eyes started searching for something evil, terrifying faces. She rolled inside the quilt just like a kid would do & started to blabber the prayers even though she was dead scary.

"BOOM" shouted henry. "Gotcha you scary mouse hahahaha"

Well that was Henry, her childhood friend. He loved making her scared to death. Even though Rebecca (ruby) seemed annoyed by his lame drama Henry found it fun.

"Nice try henry. Bleh bleh blehhh I didn't get scared at all LOSERRRR!!!!"

"Yeah saw that in your face Ruby. By the way what are you doing in here? Didn't you plan to go with Jessica on her field trip?

"I should be the one asking this from you henry. What are you really doing at my house? And inside my attic??? Who led you inside??

"Well I saw Mr. & Mrs. Wilson right down the street & they said me about the ceremony they are going to attend to, also they said me that you've going through a tough head ache which is not true at all. Mr. Wilson handed me the extra pair of keys & said me to accompany you & that's when I planned to surprise you with my amazing Halloween costume"

Both of them led the door open, went down stairs, grabbed a bag of chips & started munching like a goat.

Rebecca wondered whether he knew about what she was up to or whether he knew everything since the day 1. She wasn't that sure whether to confess it to him because she was scared that he would not let her do it. she got rid of the stuff which was running all over her mind & started to concentrate on what he was talking about.

Something made her feel terrible inside. She started seeing weird stuff & wasn't sure whether they were paranormal or just an imagination.

"Henry I wanted to confess something really important. I MEAN REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT. It's something about life or death. I trust you & I believe in you. I know that you loved keeping secrets as secrets rather than exposing them to the outer world. And we were been best buddies since kindergarten. Even though were are the same age, you've got more experiences in life than me. I know that you will understand my situation Hen"

She looked around as if she was trying to murder or as if someone was trying to listen to their conversation.

Henry had no idea what in earth was going on. He looked like a rotten potato wondering whether everything was alright with her.

She shut the windows, closed the curtains & sat next to Hen on the sofa. She came closer to him & grabbed his arms & started confessing.

"Hen have you heard about the GAME? I mean the game Jessica & them played??

"You know right I don't talk to nerds at all. By the way what's up with that game though??

"I know this sounds really crazy but this is the truth & you should believe me. Remember when we had my 20th birthday party at barnyard in NY?

"Yeah how come I forget that? That was an amazing night. So many pretty ladies banging on the dance floor & you fell down like a dead lizard hahaha "

Ruby was pissed but ignored it.

"Whatever looser now back to the topic. So once the party was over, me & Jessica planned to go out for a ride since I was going through a terrible breakdown. While we were passing the old church we saw an old lady fallen down the roadways. You know right that there are coyotes after 11pm. So we decided to help her & drop her right at her doorstep. She looked very weak & tired. Her eyes were as red as a lady with high amount of drugs though. Her hands & legs were swollen as if someone have bitten her. It might be the coyotes but unluckily it wasn't.
