Lapis quickly looked down as Pearl took her hand (to make them look like a couple) and swam to the ball. Lapis swam through the doors as she heard cheering and they just sat down on the water bench and talked.
Lapis: Well this is ....Nice
Pearl: Yeah..but not as nice as you
Lapis: Did you get that from online
Pearl: Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe...
Lapis: Well, my dad's going to expect us to dance soon
Pearl: Then let's dance
Pearl grabbed Lapis's hand and dragged her to the dance floor. He swam into the middle of the dance floor and laughed as the danced. Once the music changed into a slow dance both of them blushed as they danced. "Well this is better than being on the surface" Pearl whispered Lapis stayed silent. Once the dance was over they went into there room and got changed and Lapis jumped into bed but they had agreed to take turns on the bed so Pearl slept on the ground. " After the plan .....you can go home" Lapis said sadly. "I want to stay here!" Pearl said happily "I'm having so much fun and my family passed away so nobody will really notice" Pearl said. "Really?!" Lapis said surprised "Of course!" "but what about the plan" Lapis said. Pearl haven't thought of that "um well we can figure that out" Pearl replied.
