"Rule #3: All those working for the Cabello residence must complete a full year of service before quitting or switching positions."

"Father."

Camila Cabello pushed open two large French doors revealing Alejandro Cabello's spacious office. He was seated on his office chair behind his desk. His iPhone pressed against his ear, taking yet another phone call. Alejandro looked up, the presence of his daughter had him stop his conversation on the phone.

"Hold your thought Richard. My daughter has come to ask for something." He removed the phone from his ear, giving Camila his full attention. "Is there something that your need Kaks?" Camila shook her head.

"No, no. It's Miss. Cox who wants to speak to you," she said pointing behind her. Although Anne wasn't there.

"Well, send her in," he said putting his phone back to his ear. "Alright Richard, I'm afraid our phone call is cut short. One of my maids have come to ask for something - yeah, hopefully it's not another raise. They're already being paid double for not cleaning this house well - I'll call back later tonight. Have a great afternoon Richard." Alejandro glanced up after setting his iPhone down on his desk. Anne adjusted her maid's uniform slightly, knowing Alejandro wanted them to look neat and tidy. "What is it that you need, Cox?" he asked, "I've already raised your pay to double."

"I'm not asking for another raise Mr. Cabello, sir," Anne began, "I just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving the maid ser-" she was cut off by the loud slap of Alejandro's palm against his wooden desk. Anne stepped back slightly.

"This is unacceptable!" he exclaimed, "what do you mean you're leaving? You signed a contract six months ago saying you would be our maid for a year. Cox, it's only been six months!"

"But sir," Anne countered, "I've found a job that will pay much more for my family and I. The cheques you give me every other week isn't enough for my kids and I to survive off of." Anne clasped her hands together as if she was praying. "Please, I'll do anything," she begged. Suddenly, Alejandro pulled out a laminated paper that had a list of rules printed on it. He lifted a finger using the gesture "come here". Anne stepped forward, glancing down at where his other finger was pointed.

"Read this out loud, Cox," he demanded.

"Rule #3: All those working for the Cabello residence must complete a full year of service before quitting or switching positions," Anne read, a tone of nervousness in her voice. "Mr. Cabello sir-"

"You're breaking the rules here, Cox."

"Please, I'll do anything! I really need the money," she begged again. Alejandro thought about it for a second, his fingers tapping annoyingly against the desk.

"I'll have my son finish my next six months of service," she offered hoping it would bribe him to let her leave. "He'll be willing to do it." Alejandro glanced up at Anne, arching an eyebrow.

"Your son, huh?" he asked. She nodded eagerly. "I'll let your son work for me but - " he stood up from his chair. "Since your so eager to work at the other place that pays much more than I do apparently, I won't be paying your son. He'll be working for me at his leisure," he explained. Anne opened her mouth to speak, but soon shut it.

"Fair enough, sir." Alejandro nodded, a smile spreading across his face. He made his way towards the door. "When will I be able to leave?" she asked turning around slowly. He leaned against the door frame and sighed.

"We'll talk about this tomorrow morning," he replied hearing the sound of his phone coming to life. "Right now, I need to take this important phone call. Find Sinu, and ask for any assistance." Anne nodded her head at his requests.

"Yes sir, thank you."

"Is it true you're leaving?" Camila asked the woman sitting in the passenger seat of her car. She quickly looked at her before looking back at the road.

"Who told you that?" Anne replied still looking out the window. "And your father never made it official. We still have to talk about it tomorrow morning." Camila stopped at a red light, and glanced over at Anne.

"Well I over heard dad talking to mom that you were leaving. Also, Christopher and Rose were talking about it in the garage." She pressed her foot on the gas pedal speeding down the road again.

"Well, the gossips true, sunshine."

The drive to Anne's household was interesting. The houses were getting smaller and smaller every block the car passed. After what felt like forever, they finally entered the area where Anne lived. Camila's eyes widen at the scene before her.

To the left were gangs fist fighting. Many of them were dressed in black, and the others in assorted colors. Camila assumed this happens everyday because there were little kids playing on the right side minding their own business. Some parents were just standing there being bystanders.

"Is this normal?" Camila asked with fear written on her face. She went a bit faster than the speed limit. Anne let out a small laugh.

"The police don't even bother anymore. It's a normal occurrence, and some even use this as a source of entertainment," she explained looking over at the younger girl who's knuckles were turning white from clutching the steering wheel too tightly. Anne laughed again. "Sunshine, I live in the poorest part of Miami. There's nothing really we can do about it."

"I wish we could," Camila sighed. "It's not safe for children to be watching that and thinking that it's normal," she explained taking a left turn. "And the parents! They were just standing there! That was such a stupid move. Call the police at least!" She groaned and shook her head, slightly frustrated.

"Maybe one day, you'll change that."

Camila stopped the car, and turned the ignition off. She turned to face Anne and flashed her a small smile. Behind her was her house. It was an average size for a family of four. It was brown with a grey roof. The windows were beaten and old. The front yard was not taken care of. There were patches of grass, but the rest were dirt. The driveway had cracks that lead to big potholes.

"Won't you be breaking the rules?"

"Don't worry about that, I suggested something to your father. Surprisingly, he agreed on it."

Someone caught Camila's eye, however, as Anne stepped out of her car after exchanging goodbyes. He looked to be about 5'10". His curly hair bounced with every step he took while his dirty white shirt stuck to his sweaty skin as he tried to playfully tackle two little girls to the ground. His grey jeans had a tear on the left knee, but he didn't seem to mind at all.

He's attractive, Camila thought.

She rolled down her window as Anne approached her car again.

"Harry, come here!" She called the curly hair boy over.

Harry is his name, huh?

The tall boy jogged towards her, adjusting his shirt slightly. He let out a huff as the two little girls tried climbing on his back. He let out a small laugh.

"This is Harry, my oldest," she said gesturing towards the tall boy. He bent down, revealing his face. Camila lowered her sunglasses, getting a better glimpse of his face. She bit her bottom lip.

His facial features were outstanding.

"This is Alexis my second oldest, and Avery, my youngest." Camila couldn't help but smile at how cute the little girls were. "Now I..." Anne began, but Camila was already out of it as she stared intently at the curly hair boy.

The way he treats his sisters is cute.

Brown eyes met green eyes, and it was a stare off between the two. Camila furrowed her eyebrows at the weird interaction, but Harry just grinned. The feeling of butterflies grew in Camila's stomach at the sight of Harry's smile.
You seriously can't be crushing on him already, she thought.

"... With that being said, Harry will be working for you guys for the next six months of my contract."
