Alicia's POV
"No it's not that I don't like him Bri, it's just the fact that I don't do relationship's, like I've told you before I'm a-" she cut me off saying "-a mother not a lover, I know and I respect that, I just think you should get out there again Licia, it's been 5 years" she said sounding concerned "look Bri Ill call you back later or we can go out sometime and continue this conversation, I have to check on Brian couse the only time he this quiet is when he doing some shit he shouldn't be doing" "Okay than. Chat later hoe" "bitch bye" I said giggling and putting the phone down
I walk outside to the back yard to look for Brian and see him jumping about on the trampoline, I smile and walk over to him "Brian" "Yes mommy?" he asks out of breath and stops jumping, looking at me with his brows furrowed in confusion "you hungry baby?" "no mommy can I jump again now?"he asks hopeful "sure" I said smiling
I went back into my house to prepair dinner even though he just told me his not hungry, I go to the kitchen and finished the food and as Im about to dish it my phone rings, I check it and Tiffany, my irritating ass best friend so I pick up "Lee hey, listen I jus-" I cut her off " if this is one of your crazy surprise dates than I'm hanging up" I threaten "its not!" She says sounding offended "look I'm gonna come over and we can talk okay?" I nod even tho she can't see me "okay" I reply, hanging up
Ding dong, I hear my door bell ring and already know its Tiffany so I go to the door and open it to my surprise Tiffany isn't alone, there's a dude with her "Tiffany hey!" "hey" she says walking in past me with the dude following close behind, she turns to face me and I mouth 'what the hell' and look between her and the guy "oh hmm Lee this is Grant, Grant Alicia" she says gestering to me and him, he stretches his hand to me and I hesitate before shaking it "Its a pleasure " he says "no, no 'the pleasure' is all mine" I say sounding a bit harsh l, not toward him but toward my idiot best friend "Tiff a word please, in private" I say walking into the kitchen with her following close behind "what the heck T I told you Im not interested in anyone!" I whisper-yelled while glaring at her "look Im sorry I know but his nice and cute and-" "if you like him so much why dont you date him?!" "you know I dont really role that way and Im dating Kiara!" "okay, okay fine Ill go out with this guy but only 1 date" "only 1 date" she said excited, I rolled my eyes and we went back inside, the dude looked up at me and I said "tea?" " sure" he says smiling, I smile back and went back to the kitchen to make the tea
Later that day
Tiffany and Grant have already left, Brian's asleep and I'm laying awake in bed, after a while I fell asleep.
